No, no, I get that. What I'm saying is Batman's cowl from the jawline up is a solid head like typical HT, but from the jawline down is a thin piece of rubber that covers the neck joint but is flexible enough to allow articulation with the typical 2 piece HT neck style. I know the Wayne and Bat head will be separate.

I get you now. I think you are right about that.

That Bale sculpt actually looks like a Medicom! :google

Otherwise, these look incredible. Definitely ordering both. :rock

So, anyone want a MIB Takara Batman for $175 shipped? :monkey3

The Joker sculpt worries me. Limits posing possibilities. Don't get me wrong; both look awesome. Love the Joker knife. Batman's neck looks rather long, though.

What the hell is that thing? In the screen cap Batman looks like he's raising his hand in class.

Looks like some sort of super magnet (maybe he is about to magnetically rip that gun out of his hand) with the ability to cut through the sides of van doors.

I said the same thing about Batman's neck. In the smaller image, the length actually makes the head appear a bit undersized. As for the Joker, I'm quite taken by the sculpt - it's menacing and looks enough like Heath. I'm not the type who needs 100% sculpt accuracy in my 1/6 collectibles, only my PFs and statues. I don't think there's such a thing as a perfect sculpt in the 1/6 world. HT has never done it, not even the much vaunted Enterbay with their Bruce figures.

Honestly, the Takara figure if far too good to ever be "dumped". If I can't move it for cost, then I'll happily keep it.

Oh, I'm getting the new HT Batman as well. No question. And I'll probably consider it an upgrade over the Takara and the best 1/6 Batman yet.

Is Sideshow going to offer these figures? I don't remember them having the Batman Begins figure. If not can someone thell me the best place to pre-order. I had to get my BB on ebay.:duh

Almost surely not. Sideshow never distributes any DC licensed figures.
