Maybe the Dx figure bases are metal and there are magnets in the feet now to help not have a stand ...
 
I'd like them to keep both options. The magnet base idea is cool but I find it impractical with a lot of HT figures. The Hot Toys foot peg isn't the most stable thing, the figure could still fall over, may not fall off the shelf but it could fall over and break still. For me, stands are about keeping the figures securely in place.

Crazy, I was literally just thinking yesterday how Hot Toys should explore better ways to keep figures standing, like magnets in the feet :clap

That would actually be incredibly cool, if it actually works.

I hope HT releases some proto pics soon, call me impatient :D I love the new pose they have him in for that Singapore comic con or whatever :D

Yeah that's all jack, the lifestyle he lived/lives I'm sure he do it.

That would be cool, BW did it with their Tony Montana, but since he comes with his chair I haven't displayed him standing.
