Hah, what other scene would you do?
something with BD head, as i have only two of them. though burning another jacket would be a pain in the ass.

Here are some shots of the T1 puppets and SFX i come across and thought i would share them for reference or discussion.
i can't see them now (blocked address) and will see them at home, but, judging by other's reaction, it's something really new :)

I actually still use those boots on any figure that has the giant MMS238 heads. Yes the sculpt is silly looking but I've always thought the smaller boots in combination with the big heads (as on any stock MMS238) just doesn't look good whereas the smaller boots look perfect on MMS136 with its smaller noggins.
but i measured proportions and showed that headsculpt fits boots :(

here: i used 3 images to make a 4th one. one of the images was lost (doesn't load anymore) so i moved remaining ones to my photobucket.

1) hands and feet.

2) missing picture of a technoir terminator with uzi.

(>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>will be here when i find it again<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<)

oh here it is.

3) a bunch of ebay pictures resized to be in one scale (measured by T-800 letters).

4) palms and feet resized to one scale (but without resizing parts of one image separately, thus keeping the ratio of one image).

i originally did that to see how big the boots really are... but in the end it wasn't half as bad as i feared! real head and toy head have almost same size on the last picture (showing only facial differences which can be easily explained with angle difference).

Yeah I remember seeing that but even still whenever I see pics of the stock figure I can't help thinking he looks like a leprechaun wearing little booties.

Also, if I believe you, it means I have to buy a bunch more MMS238 boots. I don't want to have to buy a bunch more MMS238 boots :wink1:

How does new reference material just suddenly materialise like this. Thanks for posting that, added to bookmarks.

Oh yeah good point, I might have to dig out those Tech Noir boots, I must have 3 or 4 pairs. I remember when they were going for a lot on ebay, Everyone making their PS shootout figs I guess?

Last I saw the prices still hadn't dropped either even after MMS238 came out.

i think i have some not destroyed or gifted away. i could try and send them to you, but you'd have to wait for several weeks until they arrive :)
i don't need them, they are a lot bigger than they should be.

The 238 parts are really. really hard to come by on eBay now. I know because I've been hunting a jacket, boots and pants for months now. :lol

i bought only one honestly!

The jacket actually wasn't so useful because they made it battle-damaged. Shoulda made it clean and we could have BDed it ourselves if we wanted. Same with the vest.

I can't remember if I bought any extra jackets, probably one at most.

There are currently ZERO jacket, pants or boots on eBay and has been like that for a month now. P. bought them all.

I bought 2 figures, as I knew I wanted the PS look and the Tanker look. I think I bought 2 sets of extra boots and 3 cargo pants, one pair I ripped up and blooded ( I used my own blood, now that's commitment)

Re: Hot Toys-The Terminator-T-800-(Battle Damaged Version)

Not sure if this is good or bad, but I just spent $250 on getting the MMS238 body, boots, pants, shirt and jacket in order to make the second 238. I'm thinking I overpaid. :lol

Maybe a tad. That's without accessories and heads... hmm.

Yeah, I figured as much. :lol

In any case, the other parts are from the original figure I already have, particularly the head, Gargoyles, hands and weapons. I blame P. for clearing out the world's supply of Terminator parts and now most of them are going for absurd prices.
