Hey guys, i just did the neck mod...
Should Iworry for the head scratching the neck? Any tips

better make it thinner again. the paint can be scratched.

* * *

i just found out that i had purchased 2 MMS238 pants which i don't need. damn.
anybody wants to exchange them for that new HT alien 2 stand?...

I am looking for my first Terminator HT. I keep looking at the DX 10 n 13. But wow, this last foto looks bad ***.

Cameron. People start getting hope.
I don´t. He lost the grit he had with T1, Aliens and T2.

Man, my pics were bad, or what?
:lol

Not at all Timo. Sorry for the lack of comment there. Y'know I think for me it's just this figure - to this day it still leaves a bad taste, with that oversized round-headed soft sculpt. Your set up will better serve superior figures like the Tech Noir and the Robocop stuff, especially with your eye for good poses.

Thanks for the advice P.
Would you say it could be dangerous if I leave it with the mod, but dont move the head at all? (Would leave it in its current pose for a loooong long time, no plans of reposing him)

the only way i scratched the paint on the neck was by making it too thick and then turning head again and again while deciding what thickness is ok.
a way to know that your neck is done ok is if hair piece has no slit between it and the main head piece.
i made a tutorial a long while ago and can try finding it now.
---------
nope cannot find it, and i thought i saved a link for myself, as i have 2 more figures to mod. pity.
anyway i found the result, and you can compare it to a stock body and decide if you need it.

Nice pics, Endo and P.

As far as Terminator love, Wor-Gar, you are right. I've slowly reacquired some of the figures that I had previously (foolishly) sold off years ago... (mms117, T-1000 and Tech Noir).

Then picked up those that I never had but needed... (DX13, DX10, both Sarah Connors and young John Connor).

It's been a rather long and expensive journey...

Thx, buddy. Didn´t know this has such a bad standing with you...

You can't find your own tutorial?

If so here it is https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140649&p=8395875&viewfull=1#post8395875

Thanks P. !
I saw your tutorial a while ago... the neck on yourr arnold definitely looks thicker than mine... I'm okay with the thickness on mine right now... i did a slight variation of the mod, I'll take some pics and share them here!
Basically my mod only widens the sides of the neck...
