The MOS figures are bigger than the usual size so its normal that Zod is bigger.
Ht tried to be consistent with the previous terminator figures but still dont get why the big head.
Out of the box VS Zod body... No contest for me.

CGI should only be used when animatronics can't do the job, not just based on laziness.

First pics is zod body second Zod body with MOS arms (wich have bigger shoulders and biceps).
He looks way more massive but im not really sure i like it...

so all you need is the zod body? any alterations to the body when u get it?
what about height is it taller too? than with the normal body T800bd comes with?

Only alteration is the Neck mod to make it thicker (masking tape around the Neck plug or fill the Neck with Cotton).
The body is a bigger and taller version of the original mms238 body.

One last modification i tried, is that Zod thighs are longer but slightly thinner than the mms238 body.
So to have a tighter fit on the pants i swapped the thighs, but i kept Zod calves who are bigger and longer than the mms238.
Very easy mod since all parts from zods body are compatible with the mms238 body.

Lol im starting to get lost with all the options lol
But its so fun to experiment.

Final word, Zod body with modded Neck is the easiest way to go.
If you wanna have bigger thighs swap them with the mms238 body.
But as it is zods is already great.

Hey everyone, longtime lurker here I currently just finished piecing together a MMS136 and love my MMS238, I have a few spare parts and want to do a second MMS238, what would be the best budget choice for a Arnold body to fit the battle damaged head? Btw the pics everyone have been taking are amazing, and the mods have been helpful. I have finally made the jump from the small Neca figure to 1/6

Apparently the General Zod body is really good for him, but the TTM-20 also works if you pad the neck a bit (similar to the stock body), and I think the Kaustic
Arnold muscle body works as well.

Nice start to the 1/6 world, great figures

You got 2 good choices for a body to make your second MMS238

First is the TTM20 which is the same body it came with minus the battle damage

The one in the middle

Second choice I've seen used with some success it the kaustic Plastic KP02 body

The one on the right

There are other options as others stated like the ZOD or superman body too, its all up to you

Based on the size of the headsculpts i think the only proper bodies are MOS zods or superman.
All the other bodies in my opinion give the headsculpt a bobble Head syndrome, not enough bulk, the Neck padding kinda reduce that effect but the bodies feel still too small to me.

Finally took shots of my 238, the smudges on the forehead aren't bothering me as much now. Although I plan on using the non BD head of the second 238 I order anyway.

And horse teeth.
