Hot toys Thor Dark World - Paint issue, need help.

I bought a used thor dark world figure and it has faded paint on his right silver scale arm. The paint is really bad, it comes off on your hand eventually. So now I need to repaint it. Any help is much appreciated since I am new to painting figures. What kind of paint, color and technique shall I use?

You can use a standard acrylic chrome paint. I fixed like that but mine wasn't on a visible spot though.

If you can find the righ color it looks good and won't peel again.

What paint did you use (brand and color)? I will check marketplace.

EDIT: Found Tamiya Models X-11 Mini Acrylic Paint, Chrome Silver on amazon if it is good.
