I just realised that Wesker is one of the few characters who wear sunglasses all the time who actually has a purpose for them. (obviously to hide his infected eyes)

But he wore them when he worked for umbrella and was in the science labs. Back then he wasn't infected. Either way Wesker is my favorite Resident Evil character, its a shame he doesnt get the merch like other characters do.

Obviously character design in one factor but a lot of desingers just give characters sunglasses to make them look more bad-ass when they are in the dark for most of the time. Doesn't make much sense. Cool how Wesker developed I quite liked the midnight suit in the game.

I agree. I would have liked to see Neca make one to go with their Chris and Sheva. Maybe with them rereleasing some of the older RE figures they did earlier they will make a Wesker eventually. I'm just glad HT made 2 of him.

I'm still bummed NECA didn't give us more character's especially with their RE5 line.

Last year they said they might make a new articulated RPD Leon and STARS Chris. But all they've been doing is re-releasing the older stuff. And recently they said they had no plans [for RE5].

I don't get how they could drop the ball now. In the past they said Capcom was hard to work with. Wanting NECA to release monsters and not characters like Barry, Rebecca, and Wesker.

Who really knows...

Maybe we'll see something at SDCC?

Yeah I read about NECA being through with RE5 stuff (which really suck as it had so much potential and it's being wasted). I heard awhile back that they may do some figures based on The Darkside Chronicles but I haven't heard anything about it in awhile.

Congrats Buttmunch! I may pick up Midnight Wesker next too. I was originally torn between BSAA Chris or DX Joker but I'm worried about Midnight Wesker becomming super rare so I may pick him up first.

Yeah, I was having a hard time finding him for a decent price as well. Plus most of the ones on ebay are "Biohazard" versions instead of "Resident Evil" so if having a different base bothers you, that is something to look into.

The labeling doesn't bother me. But yeah the cheapest I can find Midnight Wesker is $150 plus $15 S&H which wouldn't be too bad except because the place selling it is in CA, I also have to pay sales tax also. Also BSAA Chris seems to be getting harder to find aswell. Oh descisions, descisions.

I think the fact they are great for parts hasn't helped either. So instead of some lingering around, they get parted out from various places and people. Chris and Wesker could probably benefit from a rerelease, but I doubt it this late in the game. I think it would just be wiser to get a full RE license and starting making more characters and variants (Code Veronica Chris and Wesker maybe?). I'd love to see HT tackle Hunters, Tyrant, Nemesis, etc.
