HOT TOYS we need you PREDATOR's to be in TRUE 1/6 scale petition

- Realistic based 1/6 scale (14 inches/ 35 cm tall) Predator from the first Predator movie

Predator's are a big guys with a height of 8ft range. They most TOWERS at an average human characters.
To be in a realistic based 1/6 scale Predators should be 16"/40 cm, not 14"/35 cm.
Things get's too serious if we talk about Predator one, that will come in line with human figures which is a little shorter than him.
HOT TOYS - give a justice to your Predator 1 & possible later Preds height.
Predator 1 deserves it. He is the most iconic, peoples waiting him for so long.
Do it for your customers & big Predator fans please.
Do it only if you can, of course.

I'd say they seriously do. They are constantly striving to outdo themselves in the attempt to put out better and more accurate figures from great licenses for our pleasure.

Nobody say's they doesn't. Me actually is a big HT fan. That's why I'm opening this petition.
But that's just too rude mistake. He is shorter for almost a head than he should be.

I have to agree, thats crossing the line, saying that they should respect us or suggesting they don't. Theyre products are unparalleled plain and simple.

They are turning out action figures that other companies high end statues cannot compete with. That sums it up as far as I'm concerned.

although i hear you and agree with you (on the height issue compared to Arnold), i don't think at this stage hot toys could do anything with the height since they would have to completely redesign the body. he looks great, and atleast he will be in scale with the other predator figs!

Yes. Right. I meant about this in first post - maybe only for future figs too. But if they can do it on first, why not? It's a HOT TOYS at least, who knows? They are the best in 1/6. Maybe they can do some miracle

I'm all for preds being a bit taller, although I don't think they were 8'... It's the same with aliens. Some over-enthusiastic fan once said the aliens were 8' and now it's supposed to be canon.
The only actual size reference we have is that KPH was 7'2" (if I'm not mistaken) and that Bolaji Badejo was "over" 7'. I'm not sure one can add a foot just with the costume.

At any rate, I think the real problem is that HT's males are usually too tall. And no, they are not the best at keeping their figures scaled correctly to each other. I mena, look at Ripley and Elizabeth Swann...

Yeah, I've ALWAYS heard that Predators fall between 7-8 feet, and they're only THAT tall (8 foot or more) in comic books.

Aliens have always been the taller creature, and Hot Toys got that right too.

You do realize that a bigger Pred will come with a bigger price right?

Alot of people, with the economy the way it is, couldn't afford a price increase.

I don't collect "human" figs, so HT's current Pred size is fine for me.

Yes, I think the scale is close enough i not right on the money. 14inch in a 1/6 scale world = 7ft tall. Kevin Peter Hall was 7ft 2inch's tall. Ian Whyte who plays the new Predators in the AVP series is 7ft 1inch tall. Like mentioned above, I do not believe the costume adds so much to their height to tower them 8ft tall or more. The Scale is Just fine, my not be 100% on point, but it is in the correct 7ft area.
