Alot of people, with the economy the way it is, couldn't afford a price increase.

I don't collect "human" figs, so HT's current Pred size is fine for me.

You maybe right in another aspect - the technology, but to increase some to the body is no way a hard task for such a MASTERS as a HOT TOYS.
Remember, many thought that MARK 1 will be more than 200$ because he have SO TOUGH design & what?...

Yes, I think the scale is close enough i not right on the money. 14inch in a 1/6 scale world = 7ft tall. Kevin Peter Hall was 7ft 2inch's tall. Ian Whyte who plays the new Predators in the AVP series is 7ft 1inch tall. Like mentioned above, I do not believe the costume adds so much to their height to tower them 8ft tall or more. The Scale is Just fine, my not be 100% on point, but it is in the correct 7ft area.

I've also never heard of Kevin, or Ian wearing lifts in their costumes. Hell, the max I could imagine KPH being is seven foot five. As a pro-wrestling fan, I've read time and time again lifts over 3 inches are incredibly hard to perform in at the level that they need to be able to.

That picture of Arnold and Kevin together could also be similar to how they used to make Andre the Giant appear taller in photos and in promos... by you know, having him stand on something.

the plastic is the very least of the expenses. designing and fabricating the new molds would be extravagantly expensive though.
and besides... i kinda think predators are more like 7ft. so, the scale is probably just right.

You can't use that as an example unless you work for Hot Toys and know the cost that go into redesigning something.

TANKMAN...who works for NECA...stated that just redoing the parts they changed on their Giger figure to make the new Alien Warrior, cost as much as the original figure itself. And that was just a small change.

So, unless you have insider info on the cost of creating and producing figures...your argument is pointless.

It's probably easier for Hot Toys just to round it down to 14". If it bothers you THAT much, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for you to mod the feet yourself.
