I don't think it's quality that people are passing over, it's price vs. what you get, some people don't feel the included items are worth the price, and I can understand that, my Wolverine fandom is really swinging me on this one, I ordered because I love Jackman Wolverine and this is only the 2nd product to really capture him nicely in 12" form.
Yeah, I passed for now because of value reasons. Although for the first time ever I'm just a little worried about the quality of the finished head too, because of the way the IM mark I head turned out.
What happened with the Mark 1 head?

I'll get him after HT improved the head sculpt and lower the price
It doesn't look near as nice as the proto. At least to me. Very sub standard compared to other HT figures. The eyes especially.
EDIT: I'm refering to the paint apps only.
Well, I would wager that it was probably done at the same factory as John Connor, and at least Connor has them taking action, we'll have to see what humans after Connor look like, if there's a downward trend or just a couple incidents.

C'mon HT, where are the FULL shots of Wolverine. I'm not ordering until I see the goods, and with no Exclusive at SS, it made it an easy decision not to pre-order there.

I agree Coco. There is a "slight" decline in quality on certain lines while they work out the kinks with their recent switch.
Add the lack of information (characters in the line) pics (Wolverine) and the increased cost (versus lack of accessories) makes me a tad worried about this line.
Wolvie is in my top 3 most antcipated figs this year. I hope all is worked out by production date but if not I PO thru SS so I can cancel without a fee if needed.

I'm going to hold off on ordering him for a while. $170 is ridiculous. $150 is still a bit of a stretch, but I'll try and save some money up for this guy. He is one of my favourite characters since I was a kid, so I would hate to miss out if this is the only incarnation Hot Toys ends up doing of him.
this will be the definitive version of wolverine and had to be ordered! acsesories a let down but i assume the price point is due to its 'limited edition'?? and even though i hope the sculpt is improved slightly before release to resemble jackman more it still looks like wolverine!

As far as accessories go, what else does he need? 99% of us would have him posed with his clawed hands only. The only thing I could think of is a alternate head with a snarl expression and the hair tips.
