Yeah...it does look subpar compared with the rest of the figure. The P2 Elder still has the best paint job by far.

okay I have an opportunity to get Dutch and Pred at the same time for 350. So thats 175 each. Not a great deal, but pretty good considering what the predator is going for in hand on the bay. Do you guys think its worth it? I'd appreciate the advice.

If it is $350 shipped and available right now then that isn't a bad deal. Otherwise I'd just wait an extra month.

All this height buisness is confusing me. Why make Dutch smaller in the first place. If they are in true 1/6 scale Dutch should be bigger than Rambo and past figures anyway.

So if they made the mistake in the past of making figures too small why now make new figures smaller than they should be just to go with them ?.
Or am I missing something.. ?.

Kinda odd that Medicom makes their TDK Bats a true 12" and HT's makes Dutch too short. Isn't it ironic ............. don't ya think?

Hot Toys' biggest flaw is they suck at scaling figure. You get Johnny Depp Jack Sparrow that looks like he's a 6 foot tall muscle man, which he is not. You get females that all come out like they're 5 foot 1, they just don't get proper scaling within lines and among lines.

that's true Sean. basicly they have their base bodies, and for the most part, they try to stick in as many figures as they can into those bodies.

I imagine they got caught up in the Predator's proportions within itself, keeping it roughtly a 12-13" figure, and just went with it, and maybe even made the Dutch body shorter to go with the Predator, and if they use that body for Rocky 6 and Rambo 4, Stallone should be shorter than the usual HT figure so it works to that advantage too. The killer is, they use the old body on Billy so he comes out tall compared to the Pred and Dutch. Predator and Dutch seem to start a new scale for themselves and that'd be fine if it worked accross the whole Predator collection, but with Billy odd man out, it's a typical HT height scenario.

From the first pic you can see that they actually used leather like material for the straps on his chest instead of hard plastic.
