Yeah, I know. Mine sits in their shelves as well but the quality and presentation of the box really makes the opening a lovely experience. Like getting a premium car, experiencing the goodies for the first time. How you see it oozes with quality. I know it's just a figure but I mean that initial first impression makes all the difference that creates those great memories.
I can't say Iron Man/2 had that. Cheap plastic, terribly thin plastic and cardboard that nearly caved in on itself. That to some degree felt like you were opening something from action man in the 80's that was going to be discarded. The DX/Michael Jackson boxes don't have that cheap look and feel to them for that first impression. It almost felt like DVD Extended Edition packaging with pamphlets, opening layer after layer to reveal the treats. What a collector is suppose to experience and remember.
