I dont have any of the previous HT batman figures...contemplating on dropping one of my other figures i have on PO so i can get this...,,only one id consider would be the new jack sparrow....( also got capt A,iron man 2 (armour unleashed) & tracker pred )
Cant even add this to the list cause we just bought a new car....

End of the day all that matters to me is the displays on my shelves - gotta be the best and most accurate I can get. Yeah I like to keep the nice boxes but not a necessity.

Yeah, I know. Mine sits in their shelves as well but the quality and presentation of the box really makes the opening a lovely experience. Like getting a premium car, experiencing the goodies for the first time. How you see it oozes with quality. I know it's just a figure but I mean that initial first impression makes all the difference that creates those great memories.

I can't say Iron Man/2 had that. Cheap plastic, terribly thin plastic and cardboard that nearly caved in on itself. That to some degree felt like you were opening something from action man in the 80's that was going to be discarded. The DX/Michael Jackson boxes don't have that cheap look and feel to them for that first impression. It almost felt like DVD Extended Edition packaging with pamphlets, opening layer after layer to reveal the treats. What a collector is suppose to experience and remember.

Damn, I'm getting worried if SS will have him up for order then I'll miss out. They wouldn't put him up for order before a heads up with an email or newsletter right?

Opening the DX Joker and Batman was a wonderful experience for sure.

I have to say that face plate is fugly

Accentuates the cowl's problems

K so i went on ebay and there was a sellor that is putting it up on preorder for $550 plus $50 shipping!

He said that it will be released july 29- aug 2, and its limited to 500. Not sure if thats right but yeah just thought i would share.
