Yeah, which is what I based my estimate on.

Allegedly 4K of those were made. 2K of which were sold at the actual Convention and then an additional 2K.


I wonder what the edition sizes are of regular releases? 10-15K?

K so i went on ebay and there was a sellor that is putting it up on preorder for $550 plus $50 shipping!

He said that it will be released july 29- aug 2, and its limited to 500. Not sure if thats right but yeah just thought i would share.

So, SS may not announce the day and date when the Bats will be up for PO but the evilBay has announced that scalping and flipping begins today!

There will be at least 3-4000 I'm guessing

Well they're spreading them out for a total of 6 SIX events, the last one being close to the end of 2011.

I think the numbers will be quite high.

Am I missing something? Why is everyone assuming SS might carry this?

They did not carry any of TDK nor the Demon/SCrow. Odds are they are not going to carry this either...

I imagine the run size depends on the popularity of the character, but on a character like Batman I would think the run would be rather high even for an exclusive.

Or just knows nothing about situation around all these exclusives.
This winter all also said that HT gonna release only 500 pieces of each EX figure...

That's true, but they did just put up that exclusive MJ Beat It figure and they're selling the Reeves Superman. So I guess it could happen.

I wonder if HT could use talcum or powder as a dry lubricant to solve the oil problem from the DX suit. I'm assuming the oil was used to make it easier to put the suit on over the TT body. Talcum could do the same thing.

Anyway, I hope they engineer things a bit differently. It's an amazing figure.

I don't feel bent over at all because I don't feel they improved anything. I mean sure comes with more stuff, but it's accessories I don't care about one bit.

HT already stated on their FB page that this will be available at SDCC (unlike Demon Batman which was an Asian toy show exclusive).

Since SSC is HT distributor for the US, people are assuming they will be the ones handling the orders/preorders.

There may not be any more of the Demon/Scarecrow to import. Things are a little different now for HT and SSC than it was then.

I don't see why some people are surprised at a toy company re-issuing a toy. As if that's never happened before.

They improved and re-published. They might even do so again, depending on what they change for the Non-SDCC version.

Anyhow, I look forward to some reduced price OCs on ebay.

Their Bale portrait is improved, but that alone isn't enough for me to drop big $$$. Actually, if this was Gordon or Ra's, I'd feel much more compelled to acquire it, regardless of the cost.
