They do ship to Australia, but it's a fairly heinous shipping cost from the US, as compared to buying HT figures from Hong Kong - as I did with this one.

I sound like a broken record with this but Lejuan paid $50 less for his exclusive DX04, straight from Sideshow, than California residents.

cheaper than Hong Kong! I didn't realise SS had some sort of arrangement with FedEx, but I recall shipping cost for that glorious box of Bruce Lee goodness was a whopping $37. It was a big box too, twice the size of a standard 1/6 HT figure box.

Keep that record playing Nam, it never gets old

I've seen you get your hands on some other hard-to-find Batman releases, even in India. Be patient - I'm sure that, if you put your mind to it, you'll get your chance to own one of these if you really want it, sooner or later.

Yeah, I hope so I got the DX Joker on a stroke of luck from a friend who went to visit Bangkok, the Two-Face from BBTS vintage retail and the DX02 Batman was a major affair!! hahaha as you and some other members know very well...

I was saving money for the OC and this announcement came at the RIGHT time and made me believe now I can get the OC much cheaper... seems unlikey at the moment...

I've seen you get your hands on some other hard-to-find Batman releases, even in India. Be patient - I'm sure that, if you put your mind to it, you'll get your chance to own one of these if you really want it, sooner or later.

Over live-chat with one of customer service people, s/he said that it WILL be available for the Indian buyers as well.

I know, I shouldn't encourage them. But I don't know how these exclusives work - I thought they were only available from the Toy Fair itself. And as for actually securing one through Sideshow when they release them, I never get myself one - I blame the time difference, but I'm generally not awake when they are released and I miss out.

Mate don't feel like you ever need to explain the spending of your own money to anyone on an internet forum... (especially the dweebs fighting the good fight against 'flippers' or scalpers) on this site.

It is harder for us here in Aus, not all of us can be at the comp at 3AMish when sideshow cranks their pre-orders.

I did pay the scccaaarrrryyy scalpers $400 odd for this figure, because I'm in the US for a month, with very limited access to the web so secured one before I left and don't regret it. Didn't have an OC Batman, and now have a new one waiting for me when I get back from vacation. Enjoy yours (before everyone else) and ___k the rest of them

would i make good money on this figure if i just held on to it and sold it in like... a year? (i wanted a DX02 so hoping for something similar)

you would at the very least make your money back if you decided to sell.

This does look awesome, but in the future HT will raise its prices too high because there are those who pay these prices to scalpers, so with respect and in the future:

Totally agree, its hard enough without having to make excuses for spending a bit more to secure it - however...that being said, my wife will kill me if I spend $400 on this, so I guess I'll be up at 3am

i just hope that eveyone that wants one gets one, even if they end up on the waitlist. Its the first time i have taken part in a PPO i have read the sideshow help section but are there any other tips fellow freaks could give me ??

I can't order anything from SSC, i did have an account with them ages ago, but i closed it when they didn't have what i was looking for in stock (a bit daft, but what can you do), i tried to get the account reopened and it seems they want a copy of your signature before they do that which seems a bit strange to me, so im hoping to get this figure from either a European or British supplier

So just to confirm: Around 10AM PST you just go to sideshow's website, log into your account and it should be there under under PPO?
