When i first got the fabric i made 2 practice capes and when i made my third one i was happy with it. I recently made another one for this figure.

Anyways heres how my custom cape looks like. Its not lazer cut or anything, and im sure the lforigno capes look much better, but im happy with mine :)

Looks good to me :clap

Regarding crow's point - yes I'm well aware that I can save money by getting my own cloth and cutting it, but for $20 or whatever, i'd rather save myself the time and effort :dunno

Thanks man :hi5:

I 100% agree :lol

Its a _______ to cut velvet, and the amount of time and effort it takes is crazy.

Come on guys, let's keep this thread going, no matter where it ends up in. Let's no be cauwcauwflushes.

I also thought of the "do it yourself" option, but I doubt seriously the cuts would be clean or that the end result would be reasonably accurate. More than $25 is a bit high, though. . .and yeah, I'm pretty sure my shoes are my own article of clothing that cost more than that. And them not by much.

Is Iforigno's velvet cape a bad ass quality cape, looks like it in picsies.

I'm not going to lie, while I liked his TDK rayon cape, the V cut came already tearing :monkey2

Unfortunately for me I have to spend ridiculous amounts on my own clothes too.. have to wear a suit to work and they don't make my size 'off the rack'.

:gah::slap

So it's a little easier self-justifying Kato's clothes :lol

The velvet is a LOT more durable, it won't be tearing anytime soon. Have the velvet on both my TDK and OC Batman

Just bought one from him. Should have it today or tomorrow - I'll post pics and thoughts. Now I just need a Batman to go with it :p. When are they supposed to ship?

It's the DC section. It will always be bitter no matter who reads it or takes offense to it. The results have been proven and it speaks for itself. Sadly it's not the same DC section it was back in 2008 that had no hostility and attitude.

It feels and sounds like the recession. It's getting nowhere, just a bigger darker hole.

Nah there's only guys with an overwhelmingly negative attitude such as that shown in this post that tend to spoil the fun.

No, you just don't like to face up to the truth. You follow the same path as the past Labour Government. Denial, finger pointing and the blame game for your own mess.

It's true, it's DAMN true. I should know better. And I am being serious, I guess $200 shirts will do that to you.

Wow, looks like a couple people are in need of tampon coupons. Wonder what the daily _____ is gonna be about today. :monkey1

Now where were we before newbus interruptus? Oh, yeah, I still think the DVD release is gonna compensate for any financial loss on Green lantern.

Had no idea what that was, googled it, and see that they sell $100 T-SHIRTS. And Jeans are $300, with $200 shoes that look like something from Payless. Power to those who buy it.

Y'see, this is really ____ing constructive. Thanks so much.
