I totally forgot about the Gunmetal Gray Mark III.

Which of the Marks do you have, if any?

Welcome aboard Raikirik

I have Mark II x2, Mark III, Gunmetal Gray and Battle Damage on pre-order. The Mark I received much praise from collectors, I will eventually pick it up (it isn't high on my list).

I got into the hobby for DC and Marvel figs therefore, HT recent announcement of the marvel license was a great day. I may regret feeling so after the list of expected HT IM2 figures. The list doesn't include their trilogy or upcoming films figures. :horror

You have any IM figs?

I'm shocked to read about a Mark VI. I know the Mark IV is basically the rebuild and retooling of the Mark III after the Iron Monger fight and how it gets damaged in order to need a Mark V but in everything I've heard and read I've never seen mention of a Mark VI. I'll have to start digging around.

Stark got caught with his pants down, eh? :naughty

Thanks for the welcome!

Actually, I just recently started looking at the HT figures. I was turning a blind eye to them before because I didn't really like figures, I was more into statues. I have Sideshow Spider Man 3 Venom statue and Symbiote Spider Man bust.

Alas, after seeing the crazy work that goes into these figures I got hooked! I even felt bad after looking at these figures as I had recently purchased a Kotobukiya Iron Man statue.

You have 2 Mark II's!? I just received my Mark I a few hours ago and I also have the non-exclusive battle damaged Mark III on pre-order. I'm having a tough time attaching the front of the helmet.

It is a long and expensive journey into thie 1/6th world. Good luck :D

I considered picking up a few diorama's or comiquette's but space was an issue. I (we) close on our new house the end of next month and I have my own media room. :banana I may have to revisit select diorama's or comiquette's.

It is common folks buy more than one figure however, I purchased 2 in error. Once I am sttled into the new house, I will probably post in the for sale section.

Nice, for how much? I might keep my eye out for it.

I decided to leave the Mark I on for a while and the chest RT light isn't lit anymore but the laser on the left arm is. I tried turning it on and off and the light stays on for a while but then fades out. Bad batteries? How much does it cost to replace these batteries if I need to?

The figures in the 'for sale' section are very reasonable. Good honest people here for the most part. If your building a collection and you want older figs the 'for sale' section is highly recommended. I would anticpate offering a mint Mark II domestically for approx $120 or $130 shipped. Dunno yet. :D

I turned mine on upon purchase and I haven't had them on since. It is a typical watch battery but be careful to remove old batteries to avoid leakage (which will ruin your figure).

Thanks for your replying to that! I'm going to go out to get some new batteries and try them out, plus I have class.

I think I'm sold on your Mark II. I really would take it off your hands! I'd grab it for more than you mentioned above. >X)

I appreciate it. I will try to keep you in mind once I am settled if not keep checking the for sale thread. I am looking to help a fellow freak and collector not make a fortune. I would go to evilbay to rip folks off :D

My Mk1 and 2 have the same problem... it is the battery connection. I also had this happen with my T800 endo. You need to slip a tiny bit of tin-foil in to make a good connection and it should be fine.
Dizzy

I tried the foil thing with aluminum foil. I tried while the light was fading and it did revive it but I could never get the foil in the right place so that it would stay that way. Any other solutions to this?

I reported this somewhere else as well (can't remember where) butthe list of 'figures' from that article is pure speculation from the writer... it's his 'wish list'. HT have said it is all still under review.

Speculation (woo hoo).....a grand total of 8 ironman figures from both movies and a War Machine is too much for one license :duh

I don't know about you guys, but I know I can't wait to have these in my detolf shelf already:D

I've learn to be more selective this year. Not gonna impulse buy any figs, and I'll just take a wait and see approach when buyin figs.

But I can already feel that this lines gonna be hard to resist. I guess iron man 2 is their milkin cow for 2010 as terminator is for 2009.

I cannot wait for the movie. That said, I will be more selective with HT IM 2 figures. I agree HT will continue milking IM like TS:4.

I do not need a Mark I, II, III x 3, IV, V.....etc. Shellhead isn't in my top tier of Marvel characters. Therefore, a battle damaged Mark III and War Machine "should" complete my Ironman lineup. Mark IV...etc. provide something unique outside of the design, I may re-consider. I am interested in Whiplash, Black Widow or Nick Fury characters. I fully antcipate HT will get me one way or another from this film. :D
