Hmmmm...if those designs are accurate then visually the ONLY difference from the Mark IV to the Mark V is the chestplate

I wonder if the HT figure will include swapable chestplates similar to the BD version for Iron Man 1....

Also, War Machine is much bulkier than originally conceptualized. Will definitely look different next to any of Tony's Marks even the Mark 2 because it has all those ridges specifically in the forehead and the biceps.

Hmmm....Mark VI. Since the visual of the Mark IV and the VI aren't any different than the chest plate, I wonder what the Mark V would be...

War Machine looks bad ass, but the Mark VI doesn't impress me that much. In fact I'm not sure if I like it that much. I like the round chest plate more. If it has the triangular-like chest piece I want it to have the back pipes like the Rebirth Iron Man did.

I love the Jim Lee Rebirth design but traditionally its one of the least liked designs amongst Iron Man fans. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a few other designs before getting to that one.

Oh I know. The whole Rebirth line was a supposed crap shoot which I dont see why. I liked the Rebirth Cap and the Iron man.

I cannot wait for the movie. That said, I will be more selective with HT IM 2 figures. I agree HT will continue milking IM like TS:4.

I do not need a Mark I, II, III x 3, IV, V.....etc. Shellhead isn't in my top tier of Marvel characters. Therefore, a battle damaged Mark III and War Machine "should" complete my Ironman lineup. Mark IV...etc. provide something unique outside of the design, I may re-consider. I am interested in Whiplash, Black Widow or Nick Fury characters. I fully antcipate HT will get me one way or another from this film.

This is how I want to be about IM 2. They have me hooked with the first movie, Terminator, Blade, and now 300. I also know that their Inglorious Basterds line will get my wallet crying as well. I really only want 2 figures out of this movie--- the new IM armor and War Machine.

I hope it's the Mark 2 prep figure...i doubt they'd kick up a fuss over just a reworked headsculpt, that'd just appear out of nowhere on Tommy Richardson's blog or Toyworld.

Huh. HT did say in an interview that the BD Mk3 was the last figure from Iron man so I would say that its slim that they'll annouced the Mk2 Prep figure. I think it'll be the facesculpt or a sneak at the first Iron Man 2 figure.

I third that. I'm not looking to get every IronMan that HT releases cause I know that they'll probably milk IM for everything it's worth. I'll probably get the ones with the most difference. Like Mark VI. Then I'm definitely going to get Fury and War Machine.
