Yeah, that's probably the best bet... Buy a Medi, use the body and head... and use all the gear from the HT.

OR... use the Medi head, mod for the HT body somehow... and use the HT gear.

Either way it will be sweeeeet.

Nice Legolas sculpt HA, I never saw yours. If they all turned out that way, I'd get one!

HT one's nice, I think the Medi is better, BUT if HT starts a series, I see the appeal and them leading the market. Medicom just needs to do more than 1 guy per movie. And I understand their thing is, rather than do a series they'd rather make it like 1 special figure and that's it, limit the whole thing, but for us western collectors, we like a crew to roll with. I think they're getting it though, they keep chalking up the Star Wars. And Spidey 3 they added Parker. Marvel comic series is continued. They seem to on the pulse a little better than they used to for the western market, which is cool.

I would say it is the neck that ruins it - sculpt is not bad at all

I'll deffinately be picking this up to kit bash ultimate Jack. I think Medicom's sculpt is there, it's just the paint apps hiding it a bit. I recently bought the NECA AWE 12" Jack and the sculpt is great, but the best feature is the eyes really capture Depp, and I think the key is the dark tan of his skin and the eyeliner making his eyes seem very white, and between the skin tone and eye paint on the Medi figure, that effect is a little lost. Here is a quick photoshop I did of some minor changes to Medi Jack, hopefully this will combine well with elements of the HT and the perfect Jack will be born
