The only doubt with Billy for me, is whether there really is a great likeness hiding under there. Hope so, but is it worth the gamble to get him and have a repaint commissioned? Pretty sure yes.

For now, I'm passing on Billy. Until as you say, they announce more crew members. If Mac and Blaine or Dillon show up, then I'll get Billy.

I'm a bit gunshy of HT not following through with completing their lines.

You said it, i'm going to pass on Billy also, but if two others go up for sale i'll buy.

It's a bit risky, as we all saw what happened to the Hicks/Hudson prices... but I don't think the Pred crew has the same sort of customization appeal, and Billy is more like Drake than Hudson in his appeal. To me anyway. I'd prefer Mac and Blaine and Dillon over Billy if I had to choose.

Still, I'd rather pay a bit more for Billy down the line if other figs are offered, then get Billy now and have the line end without further figs.

OFF TOPIC: I'm still wondering what the ALIEN line will offer beyond Ripley and Giger Alien next year. That's another line I jumped on in hopes of seeing at least a few of the crew. Lambert in space suit to complete the three if nothing else. But that line has been a slow mover to say the least.

I really think the completion of this line rests on Billy's shoulders. How he sells will determine HT's course, if he sells poorly they say screw it to the rest most likely.

Billy is just to normal for me to buy if they just make Dutch and him. I might like Billy more if he had his signature "knife/sword/awsomeness" but i though i saw a pic of Dutch having one of those knives. So really there's no ned to buy Billy unless the other crew is made.

And no, Maulfan, I can't imagine HT would offer a complete bloody carcas as an extra...they had issues with Two-Face's face, had to get an American to sculpt such a hidious thing.

Exactly, didn't Andy sculpt that? Or at least someone from DCD did I know.

Well in reality these figures are planned and produced well in advance so we probably will get another couple of figures like Blaine and a BD Predator or something like that but I have a feeling that poor sales on Billy (I think he'll sell well but not sell out kind of thing) will get the notorious HT syndrome where we go missing one or two from a complete line...

On the toher hand i really like Billy's gun. Instead of haviong the grenade launcher he has a shotgun. It looks pretty cool and movie accurate but still is not enough motivation to get me to buy him.

Joking. But I still don't see HT offering an entire carcas figure. That kind of thing would only work with a two-pack of figures...and that's something HT doesn't do (unless its two looks for one character like Superman).

I would also agree that HT must have the other figures further along if they plan any more at all. Waiting to see how Billy sells and then developing more figures seems like it would take way too long. Billy's sales will probably determine the amount of figures they offer, that's all. Again, IF they have plans for anything beyond these three.

I think Blaine and Dillon are a lock, they prolly already have them lined up for announcements after the first set is released...

But that may be it except for a BD Pred and I want a Mac!

I just noticed that the figure's hair color is still throwing the likeness off a bit. In Predator Arnold's hair was pretty light with almost an orange tint to it.

It will definitely need a repaint.

Well, it was in somewhere official that an American sculptor did the burn side of the Two-Face figure, which to me says HT couldn't get access to the materials and the licenses holders worked a deal to have someone of their choice over here do that part.

Sad thing is, I think HT always wants to fill out their lines but half asses them when sales aren't what they'd like.
