Yeah, I got my shipping notice as well.

I think it's odd that this shipped before the battle damaged Pred.

Especially since they took payment on the BD Pred before the Elder.

I'm with Jamal on this one. It isn't as much the armor as it it the netting. I tried earlier to mimic the P1 iconic crouch roar but the netting just wouldn't allow it. If the net suit had come in different pieces as opposed to one then we would have had much less restriction.

I don't know, maybe your suits are tighter, maybe mine's looser... but after I posted last night I tried to get a 3/4 crouch pose, even without the hair dryer and without taking any armour off. The netting wasn't an issue, but maybe I'm doing something different from what you guys are talking about... I don't know.

My biggest concern is that I'm not sure if the body itself will articulate enough to get an extreme crouch. Probably not, but I think I can get it close enough to at least look natural. I'll give it a try tomorrow and take some pics of the results. I just hope I don't break something again..! :monkey4

I figure I'll test out some posing range with the body prior to gearing it up once I get my BD. Hope it ships today, should arrive by next Friday if it does, otherwise I'll have to wait into the following week cuz it's coming to my office.

Okay, here are some really crappy, fast & dirty pics, but without even using a hair dryer or adjusting his armour, I was able to get this much out of him. His legs can't bend at the knee or lift at the hip as much as you'd need for the deep crouch without modding the figure some, but it's not too bad. I had no problem with the netting in this pose, and he didn't need a figure stand, either.

MaulFan, I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting some interesting poses out of this figure as long as you go slow and take care not to force anything... which I don't suppose you would anyway. And the hair dryer is your best friend! Good luck and have fun when your very first HT Pred arrives, and blow us away with some really nice pics. :D

Very cool, nothing wrong with that much poseability, better than previous images lead you to expect, thanks for the demo.

Me too, bro! That's one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. Exactly what I was thinking of when I posed him for the pics. If I could get his legs to bend just a little bit more without breaking something... anyway, I'll work on it a little more and see what I can come up with!

it looks as though this guy got both helmets with his BD......or maybe he just took a picture with one in the case and the other sitting on top of the case........I wonder...

Well, unless Hot Toys is getting sloppy in their packaging, I'd say either the SSC/VIP mask comes in a bag that's taped to the blister or this user bought the maks separate and just threw it all into the photo, unfortunately for you SSC version buyers, it's nothing conclusive.

I don't see why it isn't conclusive. I think the Sideshow version will have everything. Whether it comes with both masks included in the packaging, or taped to the side as an extra, like the VIP exclusive. Nothing to worry about now, just another week or two, yeah.

I hope so :)

:lol Every time photos of it show up people ask the "Does the SS Exclusive come with both helmets?" and the person who posted pics NEVER answers right away.

The suspense is killin' me! :monkey1 :D

I took a few more pics of my P2 Predator and used a hair dryer on his belt and thigh armour pieces this time, which allowed his thighs to be raised more. His legs can't bend much more than this at the knees due to limited articulation, and his leg armour gets in the way, but I think it's pretty darn close to the crouching poses he had in the movie. Here's what I got so far. All that's missing are the special effects... :D

Foolish human. Time to go stealthy...

Thats sick man! does it stand by itself or needs to lean up against something?

He totally stands by himself, bro! You'd be surprised how much action you can get out of this figure. This is the most poseable Predator figure they've made so far and he's a total blast to work with... just have to be a little careful not to force anything. I just wish I could shoot him against a better background and add the energy bolts and other SFX. Still a few more things I want to try, but so far, no problems at all with the net suit. :D
