Cant please everyone I guess šŸ˜…
I actually like the curl
Personally I donā€™t like mixed media especially on the hair. But curl is so small I can ignore it lol

Dean Knight shared photo under the natural lighting. Looks way better

It's kinda funny how much this sculpt reminds me of the OSK sculpt. Which is either a testament to how good that OSK sculpt was, or how much softer the Inart one looks now...
OSK sculpt is great, it doesnā€™t photograph well bc of softer paint but in person it looks truly good. There are bootlegs everywhere and ppl are mistaken all the time when they donā€™t give credit to the original release.

People mistaking bokeh and camera focusing with sculpt softness....
Heard the same exact thing in the Aragorn threads...
People never learn

The smaller something is, the harder it can be to get it really sharp in focus, unless you are shooting with your aperture closed all the way down.

The prototype looks so much sharper, partially because that is just the nature of prototypes, but the promotional photo is also in perfect focus.
The production shot on the right here is not completely in focus, and some of the "softness" of the sculpt is honestly just coming from that.

That being said, I think the production figure looks great.

I hope so, although I still think it flares out too much. I see people here talking about soft sculpts and speckled paint, while I'm wincing at how bad the cape still looks. We were so close to greatness. It's still better than HT attempt though.

Honestly whatā€™s the point of this ā€œJustin inspiredā€ curl? I liked it sculpted more

Justin's suggestions have been nothing but crap honestly.

Justin also suggested the track system on the magnetic bases that still can't hold a figure.

Meanwhile, they ignored all our suggestions that would have made a much improved figure.

Sculpt softness aside, a lot of realism was lost on the hair and eyebrows due to paint difference.
You canā€™t prove that here, ppl are either blinded by excitement or acting dumb on purpose. Most of them saying they canā€™t see any difference. Personally I stopped arguing. Sculpt looks great but it doesnā€™t look as great as it used to and when I pay 400$ ā€œmass production softeningā€ canā€™t be an excuse. When InArt stepped in they promised ā€œnext levelā€ realism. I donā€™t see it here. Their figures are great but I donā€™t see any reason them costing two times more than hot toys. Hope in person Iā€™ll be blown away and Iā€™m just complaining for no reason.

here's another review.

It looks good there, much better than the first look we got the other day. The sculpt softness looks similar to Aragorn, but he just had a beard to add extra detail so it's more obvious with Superman I think. I wonder if us regular customers can actually expect to get this before 2025?

The sculpted hair figures have been coming out quickly compared to their rooted counterparts. Batman's release is lagging, but Kit will have all sculpted Harry Potter orders invoiced next week. Really unsure on Inart's timelines now.
