I dunno...that truck chase was stellar...and the villians? top notch. Or how about walking into an abandoned cabin and immediately looking around to to stumble onto a saxaphone? I pray that's how the Crystal Skull is discovered.

:)

Whoops, I missed all that. Let me watch it again...

(Crixy watches bookends again)

WOW! That was actually...umm....it was...hmm...it had Harrison Ford!!! Cool! :)

Now THAT would've been a great exclusive... Saxiana Jones? Indiana Blows? I'd buy that for a dollar...

Includes Untalented Native American actor! :)

Seriously, that guy was horrible. It's like they just found some Native guy on the property and asked him to be in the show.

Indiana Jones conquered Nazism and he's about to conquer Communism.

What're THREE greedy Capitalist punks to him? NUTHIN'! :rock

Mace Windu vs Indiana Jones: Who would win? And how many would survive witnessing this epic clash that would surely tear most of creation asunder. :)

I'm surprised you're lurkin' around the SPOILER thread, Trev! ;)

Eh, what am I saying... Even I can't stay away from info on this one, I'm sooo looking forward to this flick.

Is it just me or does the skull bear a resemblance to ET.

Anytime I see that skull now I start hearing the ET theme.

For you Carl, I figured you'd appreciate this, saw it looking into tickets tonight.

Hahah! That is awesome! Indy & The Sox... doesn't get any better for the Summer. Thanks for the heads-up. :rock

I have a question for folks, is the room full of cargo crates seen in the trailer the same room where the Ark was stored at the end of Raiders?

I'm confused about this, as well. Also, is the "Prop. of Dr. Jones" crate of any movie significance? What's inside?

Reviews are coming in...

Here's my Favorite Reviewer's first take. It is spoiler free and generic. Full Review coming... I always recommend seeing the Film fresh, but I am one of those guys who can leave reviews at home when I get to the Theatre so please... read even this tame blurb at your own risk...

One of the most eagerly and long-awaited series follow-ups in screen history delivers the goods -- not those of the still first-rate original, 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark," but those of its uneven two successors.
"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" begins with an actual big bang, then gradually slides toward a ho-hum midsection before literally taking off for an uplifting finish.

Nineteen years after their last adventure, director Steven Spielberg and star Harrison Ford have no trouble getting back into the groove with a story and style very much in keeping with what has made the series so perennially popular. Few films have ever had such a high mass audience must-see factor, spelling giant May 22 openings worldwide and a rambunctious B.O. life all the way into the eventual "Indiana Jones" DVD four-pack.
