Great figures Ironman1188
I've finally got hold of a figure and might make a willy or a donovan in disguise out of it if I can get a head.
Have you any bigger pics of your troopers?

Thanks!
I'm redoing some of the troopers so I will post pix when they are done.
Being as this thread got "bumped" here are a few pix to show what figures from the series could look like. Hopefully it will change some of the minds of those who voted no.

Nice job on tyler and donovan, whats the jacket you have donovan in?

i would love to have him in the two tone suede jacket so naff but cool at the same time:)

I'm still interested in at least Diana, and Lydia (Diana's blond second-in-command), Mike Donovan, Ham Tyler, Willie, and a few V soldiers in the red outfits.

So is this project still ongoing...I hope?

Great work on Mike Donovan (Marc Singer) and Ham Tyler (Ironside) figures! I'd love to have some just like them. :wave

I would settle for just a generic V soldier like the vintage figure, but done by a company like Hot Toys.

The original figure is ok for using the parts of and the rest can be kitbashed.

Problem is the original figures are expensive mib but you should be able to pick up on ebay and your good to go.

The original body is very poor with little articulation but it was made in the 80's so not bad for the time.

I doubt Hot Toys will ever do it.

The original LJN version is decent enough for its uniform and definitely for the laser, it has gotten out of control price-wise.

It seems that not enough fans really care about decent 1:6 figures from V.

Donovan's jacket? :p Its an old Brandon Walsh 90210 jacket.

Well I'm not bothered about hot toys as they only seem interested in rehashing iron man over and over, so won't be suprised if alot of my wish list is never made by them.
Instead I'll make my own:)

Brandon walsh hahahaha surely I'll be able to pick up one of those somewhere thanks for that.
I used to fancy the pants of brenda and hated luke perry, still do as he is a fool:)
My v costume has had some slight modification, where the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to use permanent marker on it to make the rank insignia.
Any tips to get it out or cover it up?

Same here styed up late the first time it was on tv.
Loved the show and thats why I would have these figures in a shot.

Had a look around for a bradley walsh jacket no luck and am not spending money on a bnib figure:)
Any help?

What's the going rate of the vintage figure these days? I haven't spotted one literally in years outside of ebay.

This stuff is easy pass.
Not as easy as Keaton's Batman.

OxiClean, Goof Off [carefully] or sewing over it would be my choices.

I'll search and see what I can dig up.

I've seen them range in price from $26 to over $100. Had a chance to buy a few cases of these in late '86. Another kick in the rump.

Heres the damage what do you think?

Tried lightly scrubbing with a toothbrush and just water, seemed to lift a little but just hope I hav'nt set it in place as said in a link I read.

Hmmm, I think my first choice would be trying to fabric glue some thin "leather" strips down over the marker, giving it a more show like appearance.
I'm not seen any remover that has totally removed permanent marker and am leary of any claims to until proven differently.
