The comical part about the complaining, is that each one thinks THEIR way is how it should be. Yet no reasonable person can expect something made for the masses to be exactly what they want. If HT could make these the way EVERYONE wanted THEIRS to be, there'd be 50 different editions of this. :cuckoo::cuckoo:

And the "BUT I AM PAYING $200+ FOR A TOY AND I WANT WHAT I WANT" agrument to old. If you don't like it, don't buy it!

This Mark II has a ton of accessories and its an inprovement on the original. And I love the packing.

Thanks Hot Toys!

...and yet another Iron man figure:slap. To each his own.

I agree broadly with that. Something in 1/6 scale is also never going to be 100% accurate. Particularly given that a complete real suit never exactly existed (I know a full suit sort of existed but none of the major joints worked and where placed in later with CG)

Speaking of old arguments. The same is true of person X wanting product Y. Everyone can't get everything they want. To complain that HT is making things you don't want but clearly other people do is silly.

I'm not complaining. I'm just sick of these new Iron man figures coming out every 6 months. This prolly get release before any other figure they'd announce. By all means if they keep milking this line and people keep buying there's nothing I can really do but voice my opinion(my opinion) and there's nothing silly about that.

What purpose does it serve? Venting anger I guess? Even still I don't fully understand the logic of the anger. I mean almost all 1/6 scale everything is stuff I don't want and have no interest in but I'm a fan of the scale and the hobby. I am happy when things I do want come out but by no means do I get angry about things I don't want being released. I don't understand why I would get angry. The world doesn't exist solely to please me.

A common complaint towards HT seems to be that because they are making product X they can't make product Y. Product Y is the product the complainant wants. What's silly to me is that HT will make what they will make. It's more accurate to say "HT can make product X". Product Y never comes into it. In fact the more populous releases that seem to get the most hate if anything help facilitate the ability to make things with a narrower fan base.

And you are complaining. To say you aren't isn't true. I am complaining right now about your complaining. You are voicing a negative opinion, often known as a complaint.

There is nothing wrong with voicing an opinion. Unfortunately, several people are voicing the SAME opinion, on EVER thread, with EVERY figure, Iron Man or Batman. So I'm sure you understand that hearing the same broken record can get old.

This thing looks awesome. I'm complaining cause I have the first release and can't afford this one.

Damn you Hot Toys!:)

Still looks nice. Although the sides are too squishy. Needs to be wider

Agreed. Like this..

Figure looks incredible though.

All the Iron Mans are in more heroic proportions. It's not accurate to the film and I would prefer they all where but at this point I don't think I'd want a sudden proportional shift from like 9 heads to 7 1/2. I do collect all the armors though so I want them to all match.

To each his own...frankly I thought that HT nailed the Mark V, IV and VI helmets, but not this...

:lecture You don't want 1/6 scale stuff, but you're a fan of the scale?

I think he means he buys the products even though he didn't care for the movies... I think. Makes sense to me most of my collection are from movies I don't really care for.

I don't buy things I don't like. What I'm saying is I do like 1/6 scale stuff but very little of it is the sort of thing I like.

Basically I have no interest in realistic humans. Realistic monsters and robots I dig and I like more abstracted stylized stuff. There's not a lot of that out there but it doesn't bother me. I don't get mad every time Hot Toys announces some new movie character that is just a guy in some clothing. Or hell even get upset that they're including a human head with something like Iron Man here and I am essentially paying extra for something I don't want.

Sell the HS... these fetch pretty significant price on the open market.

I've been thinking of selling the Cheadle sculpt once my figure arrives, but doubt it would fetch more than 30 bucks.

Sorry if these were posted but they were exactly the pics I was waiting for... Natural light and of great quality. Needless to say, he really is an impressive figure. Also, proportions are much better this time around.

While he is pretty, impressive, cool, and nice, he's just not shinny enough for me! But thanks for those pics, I was waiting for those types too!

Yeah that does make it look quite a bit better than the "better" photos. In particular the head looks better size wise.

I had a theory that the pics from EllJay Hobby where making the head look smaller than it is as the photos where taken with a fairly wide angle lens and in almost all the photos the head was posed so it was sitting really far back on the shoulders creating this forced perspective effect. Those new photos seem to reinforce my guess.

Look forward to having mine in hand.
