Great job Bar as always :rock

Any chance you have a spare Mark IV head laying around that you could mod into a helmet? :monkey3

I don't.
But isn't the armour test helmet supposed to be a MKIV/MKVI?

I meant do you have a Mark IV Tony sculpt that you could dremel and put inside a helmet. Sorry, I should have explained that better the first go around :D

:lol You are a head hunter! That's a shame you dislike that sculpt, many feel it's the best Stark and it would be really interesting to see it in a helmet. Oh well :D

Lol. I was on my custom Avengers Tony till i got an armour test head for him.
I *could* do it. Like if someone wanted that head in a helmet. I could do it fairly easily. It would take about an hour or so of dremelling of helmet/head.
But i'd only do it for a third party. I am more a fan of the armour test head.
I think the head i did today with the armour test mask is the best helmeted head i will have for the MKVII for a while. It's easily an equal of the BD headscupt(Albeit it in clean form).
But there's the hour's work, $30 for the helmet, and $70 for the Armour test head. So it's not like it's a cheap proposition!
But i think it looks great for the standard MKVII.

Nice work user. Gotta do this too.

Thanks.
The MKII Cheadle head was easy to pop apart to put the Tony head in there, but i did glue the chin guard just for stability.

The armour test helmet was slightly harder to pop apart, as it's a totally new tooled part, although it already had a MKVII neck joint, which made it an ideal choice for this job.

But i'd recommend it to anyone with the parts and skills.
I keep looking at the two helmeted heads and think they might be among the lowest-key mods i have ever done but with the most striking effect.

No doubt that looks great and came out great.

Does anyone have the photoshop skills to put the Mark IV Stark sculpt in a helmet? :monkey1

Is it weird that after having this piece as my first and only HT Iron Man I feel my IM collection is complete? This piece basically gives me everything I'd want in an iron man figure (too bad without the RDJ headsculpt but I don't much like human sculpts anyway as they make my 'figures' look too much like 'dolls' lol).

I would probably add a 'colored' suit later...but I think the AU Mk II really captures the inner wonders of IM more than others and I'm glad to have gotten this rather than overpaying for a Mk VII like I originally planned :p

oh jlyc, beware the slippery slope!!!

I too originally thought I only needed one HT IM in my collection. Something that summed up the feel of the character. The MkII AU was my favourite, but I thought I should go for a Red & Gold for "classic" value.

I settled on a MkIV.

Then I needed a MkII - THAT WAS ENOUGH!

I now have, hang on..... 12 figures on the shelf with 5 more on pre-order and I'm Eyeing Igor/Silver Centurion up ATM..... thinking I need Midas and Gemini too.

Oh the humanity :gah:

I have the original Mk III, a Mk V and the Mk II Unleashed, and the Mk II Unleashed is easily my favourite, especially when paired with the workshop Tony figure - the other two are just I'm the background but with all the removable parts and such, the Mk II is the star!
