That timeline makes sense. Well except for Captain America being in the 50's, but I'm assuming that was a typo. :lol I think it was a great idea for Marvel to get their own studio going and have this level of interaction between movies.

Out of all of the movies listed (including The Avengers, IM2, etc.) I'm most hyped about Captain America. That's going to be a tough one to beat IMO. I'm really looked forward to it being translated onto the big screen and finally getting some much needed "Hollywood" treatment.

Cap is the one I am most looking forward to as well. I'm very excited they are setting it entirely during WWII. I hope the use the Ultimate WWII outfit, or something similar.

I know some people are saying the Hulk will be against the Avengers, but Banner did seem to have some control of the Hulk at the end of his movie.
It could be the Leader that is one of the Villians in the Avengers?
Also, I have a feeling the starting credits of the Avengers will show flashbacks to the other movies.

What you have to remember is that in the original Avengers comics lends itself to this.

The Hulk leaves once he realizes how much the others fear his unstable personality. Similar to the end of the Incredible Hulk. Feeling responsible, the Avengers try to locate and contain the Hulk, which is similar to Stark's meeting with Ross.

This leads them into combat with Namor which leads to the revival and return of Captain America.

If you look at the Ultimates, The Hulk goes on a rampage over Betty Ross and The Avengers have to contain him. Then have to use him as a weapon against The Skrulls.

The movies seem to be leading to a mix of both.

I have to admit that a live action smackdown like this, would be cool.

Sorry for my part in messing up the tracks so that the IM2 train had no choice but to take, lets just say........a small detour....:angelsmil:eek::angelsmil

See what happens when Chap leaves me alone for just one day....:monkey2

Love how Thor and IM are the only ones to put a smack down on the Hulk.. even if it's short lived! :rock

I am quite awesome, thanks. :D

Your welcome! :D :rock

It's true, when it comes to certain pop culture or movie entertainment.....some folks take things way to seriously...as if their cat or dog were kicked in the nuts or something.....

Believe me, of course I want the properties that I love (but don't own) to come out great, like how Iron Man, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Blade 1, Spiderman 1 and Spiderman 2 came out and hopefully the same will happen with IM2, Cap, Thor, Spiderman 4 and Avengers, I have faith that it will, BUT I don't mind joking about it and also making fun of myself in the process.

Awesome funny pictures they all were.... :rock

Peace out

Now, where were we Darth Snoopy....:lol...oh that's right.....IM2...:lol

Ah yes...IM2, so...how about that SDCC trailer...:lol

:lol The Cap was a typo on my part.

WHEW! First Will Smith playing Cap then the story being set in the 50's...that was skeery! :horror :D

That IM2 footage is immensely watchable, just like the 1st movie for me is. You immediately get that sense of fun that was so prevalent in the 1st. It just cracks me up seeing him sitting in that donut shop with his suit on.

What do Whiplash's weapons eventually evolve into because it sure seems that he would have to perform a sneak attack on Stark, like him racing a car as seen in the trailler, for him to even begin getting the upper hand on Stark with those nasty electrical whips of his because if Stark is suited up, those whips would be quickly ineffective as IM would just ^^^^ him up from a distance!

Yeah, that donut shop scene is great!

I want to see some more of ScarJo as Black Widow :drool and more War Machine :rock !

Now as for Whiplash's weapons...From Marvel's Character Bio on Whiplash:

Weapons
Whiplash designed two cybernetically controlled whips that could be converted into nunchakus or vaulting poles. The whips could be spun so fast that they could even blow Spider-Man’s webbing away from Scarlotti preventing him from being ensnared. As both Whiplash and Blacklash, Scarlotti used a necro-lash which could be electrically charged by his gauntlets, released from its handle to deliver a concussion charge, or he could turn up the electric charge to its maximum which caused anything it hit, including Iron Man’s armor, to become brittle. He also used anti-gravity bolas, heavy gravity bolas, and various other devices also of his own design. When Mark returned to his original alias of Whiplash, he also upgraded his armaments with a kinetic whip, a cat-o-nine-tails, and a whip made of super conductive filament in order to channel lightning as an offensive weapon.

Ah, I hadn't heard the rumors about the timeline of the films....makes sense, though.

Could this be a preview for the Final Form of Whiplash? Its from an upcoming tie-in book "Iron Man vs. Whiplash".

Before he strikes in "Iron Man 2," meet the all-new, all-different, all-deadly Whiplash in this special in-continuity adventure! Who is Anton Vanko and why does he blame Tony Stark for the murder of thousands? For that matter, why does the United Nations? Brannon Bragga (TV's "24") and Marc Guggenheim (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) and artist Phil Briones (SUB-MARINER: REVOLUTION) have the answers!

Sure hope so, he looks cool enough.

Too bad IM can whip (pun yes) his ass from a far enough distance for Vanko's main weapon to be at all effective.

Whiplash has got to have a long range weapon in this movie for the confrontation to be a believable challenge!
