Those look ******* awesome. Definitely going to have to get figures of these when announced. Oh my poor wallet weeps. WarMachine looks great

I specifically asked Greg at Spook what SSC would do with the Iron Man 2 license. He said they'd follow the plan of Iron Man 1 which means Archive Sets (if this still exists), 1:1 busts, Maquettes (both 1:4 and 1:2) and imports of other company creations.

I'd be seriously shocked especially considering as different as War Machine's mask and shoulder area looks that we didn't get a 1:1 bust there. Not to mention the Mark V and probably the Mark VI. Probably a Mark IV 1:4 maquette to make up for the lack of maquette from the first one and probably a War Machine 1:2 Maquette to go with with first release. I think War Machine and the Mark V will be the darlings of SSC's offerings.

you think when we get the WM bust, that maybe they would have that gun as an ex. piece, or do you think they would leave it off? It is prolly too big, so i doubt they would put it on, but i hope they at least include the arc reactor on this one.

I have a feeling it won't be included and it'll match the other 1:1 busts perfectly. Which means unfortunately no arc.

I hope people dont get the wrong idea when they see war machine and think he is a villian, people will look at the sinister red look in his eye and think he's bad,but im sure the trailer would straighten things out.

Actually if you go buy what has been talked about and even from a few of the covers from the children's books that will tie-in it looks like if even for a few scenes that War Machine will go toe to toe with Iron Man. They've fought a bunch of times in the books so it wouldn't surprise for Favreau to put it in even for a few scenes.

I'm getting a feeling that for the beginning of the movie, it'll be Tony vs. Rhody, and then Mickey Rourke shows up somewhere in the middle, with the IM/WM teamup towards the end

the shoulder cannon is a basic part of war machine's armor

we will see stark fighting rhodes wearing the mark2 armour. the trailer did show a scene in a gym where stark in iron man mark4 armour clobbers a guy in the mark2 armour with a barbell.

my guess is stark "trains" rhodey to use the armour and it develops into a friendly-ish brawl.
skills which rhodey later puts to good use as war machine.

We also know from the ComicCon trailer, that Rhodes hands the MkII over to Hammer. So I guess there might be a fall out between the two, after the brawl at Stark's place.

oh i thought rhodes was just buying weapons from him, but in the new trailer we do see warmachiche come up in an elevator infront of the hammer drones, so maybe there is something that goes wrong... which i dont agree with for this movie. lol
or maybe its rhodes just using hammer, like stark wont give him more than the mk2, so rhodes uses hammer to outfit him

When Hammer meets Rhodes for the weapons deal in the SDCC trailer, the Mark II is lying on table in between them.
