Yup they are normal Congrats on having a good piece!
Thanks. I was confused because I see them on some pics and not on others.

Sorry for asking a stupid question guys, but what is an RMA? I have just sent an email with photos to SSC to ask for a replacement (never had to return anything before!!) so this is going to be a new experience for me... now I just need to wait and see what they say.

RMA = Return Merchandise Authorization
Chin brush strokes are going to be on all of them, they were on the prototype. Just a question of degree between individual statues is all. Unless they're particularly bad, it's unlikely that you'll get a very much better one in that respect.

So many problems on an expensive statue. Sad.

They don't look like brush strokes on the proto, more like lumps and bumps on the sculpt...
No battle damage on the proto.
I think maybe the plan was that by slapping some silver paint on the production pieces, calling it battle damage, it would alleviate some of the complaints SS received about sloppy paint. Sorry SS, no dice.
Hell, IM's crooked chin could be called battle damage too, like he just got his jaw broken in a fight.

Couple of pics of my "disasterpiece"
You can see the paint streaks, red showing through the gold, sloppy black lines and the little chip on the face plate.
