I finally got the courage up to open mine and the mouth area looks great to me. Is this piece supposed to be battle damaged though? Mine has a bunch of silverish marks on the chest and around his groin. Are those normal? cause I don't see them in most of the pics.

These are the kind of marks mine has. Chest, shoulders and crotch.

Even if it had great paint applications, the crooked mouth is unacceptable and I would send it back. That is the most noticable of all the errors and you shouldn't have to keep that.

Yeah I see everyones paint app problems but I have paint app and crooked mouth. Everytime I see my IM it looks so terrible. I could somehow learn to love the bad chin paint but not the mouth being unaligned, its just too much to bare.

Your shots are good. Save up and get nicer camera someday but you're shots are good.

Riddle me this: How many Marvel pieces in 1/4 scale are more expensive and came with crappy paint jobs?

The chin is a monstrosity, I see some pictures of red mixed in with the gold.

Sorry for asking a stupid question guys, but what is an RMA? I have just sent an email with photos to SSC to ask for a replacement (never had to return anything before!!) so this is going to be a new experience for me... now I just need to wait and see what they say.

I am totally guessing but I have had to return purchases from online stores for getting the wrong item before.
