Been watching this one for a while and jumped on it when I saw that price last night. With a few reward points it came out to $281 after tax.
Same. Xmas present for myself. Of course, I’ll be looking for scuffs asap but nothing too blaring I can live with. Super excited to get it. It was a dilemma picking one HT figure with those deep discounts but I think I made the right choice since I don’t have an IM in this scale yet and it’s diecast. Almost sprung for a Spiderman but I’d want a dynamic pose and I just don’t see the material holding up over time doing that. This on the other hand will last forever if I take care of it no matter what pose I choose. I’ve noticed that posts of the reviews show just passed a 90 degree angle on the double jointed knees but one I saw definitively shows a full bend for impressive range just like other IM figures. Post a pic when yours comes it, please.Picked one up at 25% off. Looking forward to it, and a hundred bucks off should help swallow any minor scuffs and whatnot. Owned the first release and always loved the different shades of gold and copper— this version looks like it has insane shelf presence.
Makes you wonder sometimes if these are ones that get sent back for this reason, only for them to try and pawn off on someone later willing to just settle for inferior product.I got this guy today but has some scuff marks I can’t ignore. Contacted SS already. I can live with the ones behind his thigh but the mask and forearm are just too noticeable.
Thought about that too. But they are sending out a faceplate, arm gauntlet and right leg replacement so at least they are making right. Such a relief.Makes you wonder sometimes if these are ones that get sent back for this reason, only for them to try and pawn off on someone later willing to just settle for inferior product.
