I thought having that dynamic where they all don't like each other at first and argue and ***** at one another before they teamed up was pretty fresh and new.

Then as that was going on, you had Banner who might explode at any second and tear everyone apart.

Yeah, "teamin' up to save da world" is pretty cliched, but the way it was built up and played out was fun and new. The character interactions was the best part of the plot.

Can you please show me a film which brings 6 characters from separate movie together to form one big fully functioning universe?

That is not Roger Rabbit. No? Ok. There you go. Avengers is king.

:exactly:

Congratulations to The Avengers for bringing six characters from separate movies together to form one big, fully functioning universe.

But your overall plot was still very clichéd and uninteresting. Sowwy.

:nono

Who saw it for the plot? No one. No one cares. It brought all these character together on screen in a believable and organic way.

It worked. It worked better then any other film based off a comic book that year.

:exactly:

Replace Cap's helmet and Scarjo with a more athletic actress and i'm content, story structure was just fine.

Ok, maybe increasing Cap's leadership role a tad bit would've helped his character.

Oh, and just add a girl on girl sex scene and its perfect.

Indeed, If they all just happily got along right away, things would have been far less interesting.

A friend shared these reviews with me,

I guess Mandarin is one of the best parts of Iron Man III and the best, most intelligent villain since TDK Joker? People are raving about him. That surprised me, unless these reviewers are BSing.

The verdict seems to be better than Iron Man II, not as good as Avengers and the original. I guess we'll see.

Great to hear that about him. He's the aspect I'm most looking forward too. Ever since Kingsley was casted, I've been expecting great things.

Going to a midnight show on Wednesday. Cannot wait, hopefully we see the first trailer for Thor.

Whats so cliched about it? My favorite part of Avengers is when Randy Quaid flew his plane into the portal and deactivated the Chitauri.... oh wait. :monkey3

More and more people are confirming the post-credits scene.

Stark talking to Banner.

Very surprised, but stoked. :yess: :panic: :clap

I probably missed something further back in the thread, but why is this a surprise?

Latino Review published an article about this being the end-of-credits scene. As many people know, they lied about a number of other Iron Man- and Marvel-related tidbits before. So I personally wasn't expecting such an article to be true.

Okay, makes sense. I don't read much pre viewing so makes sense that I wasn't up on that.

Ha.

If you want an awesome original story, watch Citizen Kane. Otherwise, I'll take a double helping of the predictable yet oh so satisfying alien invaders plot from Avengers!

Millennials. :slap

Well... The Dark Knight Rises had:

1.Batman from that really good Batman movie.

2.Robert De Niro's Frankenstein in an bondage mask.

3.Harry Brown

4.Dom's wife from Inception

5.Young Bruce Willis from Looper

6.God from Bruce Almighty

Oh, wait that movie sucked - you said a good movie.

Yeah - you're right then. Avengers is king. :wave

The Dark Knight Rises was awesome! You take dat back Mr.CREG! On a serious note, though, Disney needs to quit ****ing around. I want to get tickets for the marathon, but, the longer this BS takes, the more likely they are to lose a potential customer. I'll bet this kind of **** won't go down with Man of Steel:
