Mine will be arriving Monday, I have yet to receive a statue I didn't like so My hope is there.

On a positive note, MK2 color is only silver and black highlights ( 2 colors) while Iron Patriot has blue,red, silver and black highlights ( 4 colors).

So MK2 has 50% less chance of getting sloppy paint

The last one i got was Galactus. It had one eye brighter than the other. Flickering chest light and 3 bases all with flaking paint. That was the end for me.

I just remembered it was the Keaton PF which had a bent foot peg and hovers about an inch off the base, the one before was the Alien Big Chap LSB and I had to go through 5 of them before I found an acceptable one. If this was my company I would be embarrassed at the amount of QC riddled stuff it was pumping out.

As if they will answer that.... They are working from Sideshow, can't bite the hand that feeds you.

Is simple people, just don't buy stuff from them if you are not pleased.

MK2 color might just plain silver, not glossy nor "chroming".
May be just same like how SS paint MK42 1/1 bust chrome part
Happened to MK2 1/1 bust as well

Here are the photos. He says it looks great from afar and that the base is beautiful... But the paint ruins it..


the good thing to collect 400$ figure is to enjoy it form afar...

MK2 color was off in the prototype, actually. It's the one I'm mostly scared about. It has that shiny metallic finish that is not as shiny as chrome or Alclad, it's not very easy to nail and the prototype came out too dull. If they can't nail it on the proto, don't want to think about the factory piece.

Got mine a day earlier than expected, kinda wished i hadn't now though after opening it.

Mine is the same sub standard product that has been received by other's on here over the last couple of days I'm afraid. Really sloppy paint, zero care has been taken, paint bleed all over the place, scuffs & even chips. The base is actually really nice which is a shame a turd has to sit on it.

After all the delays, this is what you get sent. I'm really annoyed with myself for not cancelling this in February & just eating the NRD as it'll be a right ball ache now me having to claim my import fee's back.

Surprised you went direct with a non Ex item. Did you use RPs?

It's tough because you not only need a great paint job but you also need a very precise mold. I am seeing lots of wavy grooves, un even surface, and just blobbly corners in the mold itself. Paint is not the only issue on this piece but had the paint job been top notch, you could easily overlook the mold. Such a shame but certainly glad I cancelled a long while back. Are you guys concerned about the mark 42 yet?

I've seen people on facebook saying "i got a good one" I look at their pics and it's the same POS everyone else got. I can't understand people wanting to keep something painted like this.
