Isn't only one foot supposed to light up? The foot that is slightly raised? I'm not sure as I don't have the piece.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but it looks like you have the Silver leg accessories on the wrong legs. Switch them..they'll look much better.
Great pics and congrats!
Yeah I know. Someone earlier mentionned it! Rookie mistake!!! :slap

Tx for letting me know! And yeah, it looks MUCH better the correct way ;)

So finally got this guy home and set up. The shop where I bought it from was good enough to let me mix and match between the 2 statues as there was problems with both but I managed to get one good one from it. It is not without its flaws but they are very minor compared to what I have seen, there is only a scuff on the paint on the back of the leg which can't be seen and you really have to look for it. The magnets were really strong on all the pieces and all the lights work. There is the normal problem with the side panels not fitting flush as I think the felt gets in the way and makes them stick out a bit, I prefer it without them anyway. Colour is OK for me but is definitely not the right colour and the gloss coat really enhances it. I don't mind the base either but prefer the mark III base and would have liked them to be matching.

So I think all in all I got as close to a perfect one as you can get but really they should all be perfect. I still don't think it is worth the €1800 that it cost, more like in the €1500-€1600 range. Here is a couple of iPad pics I took quickly. I will take proper pics when it's in its final resting place with the Mark III.

Congrats dude, if you're happy then more power to you. Pretty neat you were permitted to match make between 2 sets, though I hope your LCS doesn't try to sell the remaining parts to some poor sap since they're guaranteed a shoddy statue.

You may get a full replacement... But at this point don't expect anything much better.
From the sound of things, sideshow has cut their losses with this one and just has a bunch
Of defective parts and statues left to sell.

looks like i got poor production piece or old batch piece. I really had hope for this piece. but i m not getting why there is so much difference in 2 statues. chris rankin has received statue with base plug area totally different left foot has no peg. is it partiality???? They should give the best production piece checked with proper QC to International customers to avoid replacement hassles..

Wow! Completely different positioning of the contact points :huh

Dunno if it's lighting but the paint on your base looks awful, worse than the bad ones, too Dhaval

I opened this up today. Got the sunken base and the statue sits 5mm out of it so I'll file the holes out and see if that helps. But the rest is flawless, everything is scratch free, painted nicely and fits and holds together properly. I feel bad about getting a good one after seeing all the duds and expecting the same myself.
Still shouldn't be filing out holes on a 2k statue... But I consider myself very lucky.

First time I put the feet in place they didn't sit right either, but with a little messing around you should be able to get the positioning right without filing it down.

I think the angle of assembly for the legs/base is not quite what you expect when you first put it together. The statue leans further forward than would be expected.

Dhaval, sorry to hear this. I have the peg in the left foot on mine as well, and both feet should light up. It looks like they may have two different productions, given the difference in the bases (unless it was a crazy oversight). Still think whether or not you get a good one is a lottery though. Good luck man.
