Cagoda for President!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You’re killing the game dude!! Your Amanaman is the figure we all deserve but we never got!

Hahahaha thanks bro! I can't wait for updates on good ol' Hermi!

Yeah it really is one of the best creature sculpts I've seen.:clap

I love how he captured that aspect to the wrinkling in Amana's skin that almost looks like he has a wet t-shirt on or a very tight onesie.:lol It really looks so accurate.

Wow... looks great! I agree that the elbow joint isn’t really needed and like the idea of whole arm cast - option of modding one’s own elbow articulation. Great job, Cagoda! :clap

Thanks everyone! I love and appreciate the comments!
Stryker, I do intend to include the staff. I started sculpting on the big head alien skull. I can upload pics when I can, hopefully tonight.

Made some progress- test paint sample (stripes aren't accurate, just trying different things) and articulation test. Definitely not going to go with the elbow articulation. This is becoming super involved lol. 0.jpeg0-1.jpeg0-2.jpeg

Looking good so far. And understandable about not having elbow joints.

Thank you! In doing the proof of concept with this prototype some of the pegs from the casted joints have broken off, but only if it’s really tight in the hole and I twist hard. So I’ll have to make the holes a little bigger for the pegs. It’d be way too expensive for me to upgrade every joint myself for everyone who wants one but I’m thinking of putting the joints on Shapeways and if people want to upgrade with a stronger material they can. But the resin is still acceptable, just weaker than I’d like when I try to move the tight joints.

That's a cool option you are offering. I don't have a need for the joint myself, but it's still great of you to do that. Kudos, Brother.

Instead of making alterations to my previous Ree-Yees outfit, I decided to adjust the sewing pattern template that I came up with and just make a new outfit using a slightly darker fabric. The first version seemed too baggy to me, and the jacket was way too wide at the shoulders, and too long from top to bottom. I also used a different fabric for a new pair of boot covers. Below are some pics of the final outcome (fully painted head and hands, with full costume updates).

I put him next to a stock HT Luke again for scaling comparison, and next to a WIP Lando for a bit of Jabba's Palace context. The close-up photo is the closest to true-color representation as it appears in hand, but still not exact. The fabric just picked up the sunlight in weird ways in all the photos that I took. Close enough, though.

Dude that’s just pure artistry! Amazing job, I love the seamless neck upgrade a lot.
