Oops, sorry, maybe I should have used a spoiler....I thought everyone watched the preview for the next week's episode at the end of the current episode.

Spoiler for those that haven't seen the preview and want to know...

Peter gets taken back to the alternate universe, and Liv goes over to bring him back with the help of a contraption created by Massive Dynamic. Previews showed an Alternate Liv with darker, almost brunette hair firing at the "real" Liv. SWEET!!!

Nah i have to download the episodes from the US because season 2 is behind here in the UK so they cut the preview off. :(

I think this was the best episode since it started. I can't put my finger on why, but from the beginning the episode really grabbed my attention. It's not like I don't like any of the characters and was glad they didn't get screen time, cos I like most of the cast. Maybe it was having an outsider have to face the weird stuff that made it more accessible. You get so entrenched in the show and the world that you forget that there are those in the show that don't know all this crisis (of infinite Earths) is happening around them. So maybe it was refreshing to see someone looking in with a fresh perspective. The setting was also cool and creepy like P!tu so eloquently pointed out! ;) Great episode and great ending.

Well I have just seen the Brown Betty episode, and I have to say that it was self-indulgent rubbish, that the cast and crew most likely enjoyed making, but most fans hate because it's so off key to the rest of the show.
I can only think of Buffy's Once more with feeling, where this has been successful. Maybe they were trying to replicate that?
I am not really worried about the show as a whole, because it's a pitfall that nearly every great show falls in to once or twice, so I am sure it will be back on track next week.

Yeah, no need to worry, the last two episodes have been great. Can't wait for the season finale this week.

they should've used more of a Kitty Pryde's fairytale feel. Using that 50-ish look but with modern toys and their real names just was not appropriate story telling for a young girl especially about her Aunt. slight misstep. but I kinda enjoyed it. We need to see a bit into Astrid's home life, we know nothing about her.

What can I say. I'm speechless! The last two episodes of FRINGE, "Over There" Parts 1 and 2, have been two of the greatest hours of science fiction that have been on television in a long, long time. Thank the Gods this series is out there with LOST wrapping up and good science fiction seemingly disappearing from American television. V is worthless, SGU is just plain derivitive and Caprica hasn't done anything for me. Hell, anything on the SciFi channel just sucks now. I hope FRINGE goes another three seasons. We need this series!

I know man!! Im sure Walter will know with one of his inventions things.

I like Olivia with Red Hair :yess:

I loved this season, but the season finale was soooooooooooo utterly predictable, it made it laughable. But I guess it will lead to further awesomeness. It did not have as near a big of a shock factor as the season 1 finale which made my jaw drop.

I dont know if you can ever top the first season in any series too much, almost like the first movie in a trilogy-although ironman 2 and empire strikes back arent bad sequels

I agree about the predictability of the season finale, the ending was so transparent that I called it to my girlfriend as

the phosphorus grenades were used and William Bell woke up to see Olivia over him.

Despite the predictability of the season finale, it really sets up for an exciting season three.

And the finale's "quiet" moments were awesome, like when Walter and Bell were at the Harvard lab and Walter essentially let out 20 years of frustration to Bell. John Noble is such a great actor; his mannerisms and delivery when he told Bell that he spent 17 years in a mental institution and lost his memories of his wife and Peter's childhood were so good.

And "Real" Liv confronting Alternate Liv in her apartment and saying "you have to trust me...I'm you" was so good.

Maybe it's just me, but am I the only one who doesn't believe that

alternate William Bell was killed in a car crash at 12.

I know Bell told Walter that, but I think that could be a nice surprise that the show's producers could spring on us later. Probably just the conspiracy theorist in me.

That is a good theory about Bell, If being the Doorstop/the energy to keep the portal open killed him. It would be a good way to keep his character alive.

Any and all theories about the future of William Bell have to take into consideration the fact that Leonard Nimoy has retired from acting.

But as for a young William Bell, I believe that Zachary Quinto has some time on his hands now that Heroes has been cancelled.

Really? I did not know that.

However, I remember thinking that they had to finish up whatever they need to do with Bell as Leonard Nimoy is pretty old now... I was worried that a Richard Harris/harry Potter situation would happen.
