The IC Jabba deffinately looks like a great piece for it's time, and SSC looks like the final stage in evolution from screen to 3D collectible, I'm sure the fact they worked with Stuart Freeborn, the sculptor of the original Jabba puppet, helped greatly in getting the details down.

Woo hoo!! I'm in the club!!

And I still have plenty of room left. Bring on more Jabba themed stuff!!

And you know what? I think that if I move the GG Rancor, I just might have room for a 1/6 scale version from Sideshow.

That is SICK, Tom!! He adds such class to the 1:6th scale line... as odd as that is... He just pops off of the shelf and DEMANDS attention!

Congrats!! I can't wait to have mine in hand... :monkey2

thanks for the pics tom! don't even kid about a 1/6 rancor....it would be too good to be true.

I had literally five minutes to mess around with the setup and take a few pictures before I had to leave. I will have to wait a day or two before taking the time to arrange things just right. For example, I couldn't get his right hand to hold the pipe so I gave him his froglike favorite snack food instead. But I want him holding that pipe ASAP.

Here's some "quick pixs" Not final for how I want to display everything. I just set it up to admire how FREAKIN INCREDIBLE this piece truly is.

Trust me.........It is EVERYTHING we waited 6 months for!!

So you guys that have the throne, can we get a definative "no the pipe and bowl do not come off"?

The upper pipe and bowl section are packed separately and sit on top of the railing. You don't have to display it on, but you would be staring at the empty socket in which it sits. You are not able to see through the railing and down into the liquid/frog section.

I think that I am going to blow up now. Give me Jabba and throne Sideshow:emperor Maybe I should just leave this thread till I have mine in hand... :rotfl No, you guys are stuck with me drooling.

Well, that's better than nothing considering the pipe only showed during the early appearance when 3-PO and R2 arrived, the remainder was pipeless so I'll be glad I can have it that way too, I always used to keep the top half off on my '83 Kenner Jabba, be nice to have a larger, modern day counterpart :)

So, I'm going to go to sleep tonight, and when I wake up, it'll be Thursday and the FedEx will be pulling up in back at work to drop him off :)
