WOW! meta, that looks GREAT! I already knew I was going to have a Jawa fanning a leaf for my Jabba diorama (Not sure if i should go with the light-up eyes Hasblow®, or wait for SS to make a Jawa...But that might take a while, better get a light-up Hasblow® from Evil-Bay for now...)

Anyways, seeing yours with lights just makes it look EVEN cooler...it's looking even more and more like a 'film prop maquette' and less like a 1/6 figure display...I could see it on the 'Magic of Myth' tour...That's EXACTLY what I want to do with my set-up...you've INSPIRED me for sure!!!

It was $155 plus $30 shipping. Alot cheaper than what I paid for my PF cases. I will probably be buying another for my GG Dewback but hopefully its under $100 for it. I just cant put that much into it and not protect it.


I think Im going to only put the critters in with Jabba and no figures. I will be putting all the 12" figs in Detolfs with the box behind the fig two per shelf. I plan to place Jabbas box under the table when I finally get my room organized hopefully over break next week.

One other reason is that if I went much bigger then shipping would go up a scale and it would be like $205 for the case and $103 to ship so I didn't think it was worth it.

It's coming Irish, I caught the stomach flu last Sunday morning and just started eating again today so, been a little out of action, this is the first day I've really been back to posting here even, I've been itching to do more stuff but no energy to do anything, just been laying in bed watching Seinfeld DVDs and checking out my Jabba in hand, I dont' care how many hours you look at him, he just blows you away every time, I love it.

I'm a Maul fan above everything, but the Jabba setup means more to me and my collection than any Maul item I have, including the 1:1 bust, this is just a great piece, and I agree with others wanting to see the 1:6 line go other directions besides Jabba's palace, but it's just such a great setup that part of me is like "more for this, more, let the beast grow!" It really is a throne environment, it just invites other figures and creatures to be displayed with it, just a great piece.

I finally got my Jabba and Crumb pack this week, and boy did I grossly underestimate the size of them. I almost pulled the trigger on that second chance offer for the throne, but seeing how big Jabba is in person makes me shudder at how enormous the throne must actually be.

You can judge by photos of the throne with Jabba on it, and it is big but overall it's not that much deeper or wider than Jabba himself really.

Hope you're feeling better...was wonderin' where you were! You're right about Jabba...I can never just walk by that display in my studio and at the very least look at him a bit or move things around in that "environment". C'mon Sideshow...now where's Bubo & Boussh?

The whole set-up is really one of my favorite things in my whole SW collection...it demands attention every time I see it!

Thanks JB, I had a start going and I was feeling pretty good about it, but I consulted a good friend of mine for some creative feedback and we kinda agreed I was taking it a bit more epic than would work, so I'm going to retool it a bit, and keep plugging away at it, lots of things going on. Here's a rework of my film still wallpaper style per some suggestions, see what people think of the change and also an image of one of my other pieces I've done lately so you guys can see I've been a busy bee.

Thanks for all the kind words on my bowl-and-hookah-lighting customization. I have out-of-town friends in again this weekend, so it'll be next weel before I can get the wires and circuit board fully sculpted-over and painted. I'll get some more photos up then.

So, other than the obvious barbeque and Leia in bikini, what else does my set-up need? I've contemplated adding in the arch over the throne with styrofoam (in a manner similar to how I did the stairs), but this is a temporary installation since we'll be moving in a few months and I'm not sure I want to put out that much effort.

Oh, and Maulfan, your desktops are looking mighty nice.

Yep it was from there. It was 34 X 18 X 18, but it could have been a bit bigger but it would have increased the cost by a good chunk but he fits fine inside it and I will be able to put all the critters on the little bit of room thats left.

I am still looking for a nice display item for my Jabba and throne. It is so cool I am taking my time finding the right thing. None of my shelves can accomodate it nicely so I have been searching locally. I just may have to go online to find the proper item.
