DA, did you have to give him away or are you having someone do work on him?

Sold him.... I had no room and on top of that it was causing trouble between the Mrs and I. So Jabba had to go for me to keep the peace, my own decision... not hers.

We live in a one bedroom Apt..:lol

I commend your sacrifice, nothing more worthwhile than a great partner in life, even Star Wars collectibles fall short of that, I hope one day the Hutt can find his way back to you.

You\re 100% accurate... however this is my first attempt at any type of customizing so be gentle...She's by no means ideal---but since the Hasbro Leia and Dragon body arrived in the mail today from the magical land of E-bay I'd say it's not a bad first attempt for a novice...

I agree...your display is looking good.
A couple of unsolicited suggestions...Part of the "eerieness" to Leia's look there is the Flash...got a small table lamp? Put the lamp slightly higher near the display, kill the rest of the lights in the room, turn off the flash on the camera, close in on the display and try some shots....also try draping the front skirt tail over the thigh...it'll take away some of the emphasis on the odd bent leg....

What body is that again?

Thanks for the advice--- it's much appreciated. The body is a Dragon Onimusha.

That's an understatement. It might just be the best STAR WARS collectible item period.

Well, to me it is ... but I can't afford the let's say Master Replicas Millennium Falcon or things like that.
Ok, having a knack on Jabba helps too... :lol

No way. If my wife made me choose I'd tell her to watch the door from hitting her in the ass on the way out. That's why I'm glad I'm not married.

And my best guess is that you never will be.:monkey2

In case this is still the 12" Jabba thread...

...I saw this Jabba and the throne yesterday for the first time, at a comic book store. And even though I knew it would be huge -- DUDE, IT'S ENORMOUS.

:eek

Where do y'all even keep this thing? Utility rooms?

MaulFan, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with that Jabba backdrop. Throne is coming next week and the backdrop'll be the last piece. :p

Well, despite receiving Boromir and being momentarily distracted by him, my Jabba love is still going strong, so I wanted to get this thread kicking again. With the guidance of CustomMikey, I have purchased a Hasbro Slave Leia and a Triad female body and will be making a custom, articulated Slave Leia. I got the Hasbro yesterday and the Triad came to me this afternoon at work, so I can't wait to go home and put her together, I think it'll add so much to the display :)
