I'm not sure if that door should be open-able.
After all, it has a roll-cage structure inside and they never show how batman goes in/out of vehicle in the show.
It will make it easy to put batman figure inside thou..

We decided to make the door openable so you can get a figure inside. There are door lines anyway and there's no other way to put a figure in.

We are working on added details and changes to the 2022 batmobile prototype and we will make a second prototype based on your feedback. It will have
-Added engine detail
-Added interior detail
-wider stance of rear tires
-More paint detailing

We decided to make the door openable so you can get a figure inside. There are door lines anyway and there's no other way to put a figure in.

You might have mentioned it already somewhere, but I couldn't catch up with all the news and videos.
Here is another interior shot showing roll-cage structure. I guess you will need to compromise somewhere to adopt open-able door.
Is it just Driver side open-able then?

I will let you know here as soon as the pre-order goes up. Apparently, WB London and WB HQ have to approve both design and paint since this is a new vehicle. I’m supposed to know more Monday afternoon. I am told they are extremely busy and they are prioritizing big licenses like Lego first

Great news, all the approvals finally went through on the final weathering paint job, so this will be the Heads-up people asked for, the pre-orders will open tomorrow, Thursday, 9 AM Pacific daylight time, which is 6 PM central European time.

I will share the pre-order links here so that the forum members will get the first chance to get the low numbers on the limited edition plates.

It’s too chunky & just seems really off.

Do you mean from the movie, or the way it looks in 1/6? Here's the the link to the jazzinc website. There are better angles than the picture posted for pre-orders. That pre-order picture looks terrible IMO.

Yes, on the pre-order pages, you will see more pictures. We are currently working on a second prototype with even more detail that will be included in both versions, and that will be the clean version, so you can expect more pictures of the extra detail we will be adding to the interior in the engine, as well as better pictures of the clean version in the future. It’s important to note that the pictures you will see on the pre-order pages is the minimum of what you can expect, but we will be making improvements right up until production starts. There will only be one version and production, but we will try to make as many improvements and details as possible between development and production.

Maybe it’s the angle, and the lens distortion, but this is based on the actual files we got from Warner Bros. straight from set
