It really annoyed me that she played such a great character in the last of Daniel Craig's Bond movies. Before I saw the ending - I thought to myself, "I can't wait to see her again in a sequel".

Yeah... I feel like Barbara B. could take some lessons from that Ana sequence in NTTD -- that's how an entire Bond movie should feel: fast, fun, sophisticated, sexy and exhilarating. Something the Craig Bond's have struggled to be with their deadly slow plots.

Yup I've really tired of the "serious and gritty" Bond movies. It was cool the first few times, but now I just want to get back to Bond being fun and sexy again.

Been waiting for Ana to do an action movie since her stint in No Time To Die... a lackluster Bond where she was the BEST part by far.

I look forward to this.

Hot Toys better make a 1:6 Ana from this movie and maybe a new Wick.

I got the ā€œCuban Agentā€ from No Time Die - itā€™s OK at best for a 3rd party 1:6 figure but Ana could use some serious Hot Toys glow up. :lol

I have a soft spot for the John Wick films but I'm not sure I'm interested enough in the movies universe to want to watch spin off films.

So HT made Wick, who will be up for adding a Ballerina figure to their manly doll collection?

As far as I can tell her tat "Lux in Tenebris" = Light in Darkness.

Yeah it would definitely be cool to pose her and Wick together on the shelf. But does she even have a defined look in this movie? She seems to go through a lot of different outfits in the trailer.

Although that skin-tight red dress was pretty memorable...

When will Hollywood get the memo that these days an overabundance of tattoos is the domain of mom and dad or a SDCC dude giving the booth tour on YT, not the righteous-irony artiste assassin/vigilante set.

It's becoming about as dumb as gun-control activist Hollywood producing yet another five dozen movies/series that make 100% clear using a gun is the (only) way of moral clarity for pretty much any problem.

I mean they are not wrong, tats are not outsider, edgy, or the visual cue of some extreme life, they are about as common, safe and trendy as can be. Do they "realistically" serve as a short hand to rep Russian organized crime? Does it mater, it's Hollywood fantasy!
And yes Hollywood folk do tend to spew left anti-gun anxiety and rhetoric, yet then glamorize and fetishize it in their films. Is that a problem for the champaign left po$ture? Or really a debate meritable of this particular film and thread, over any other film glut of the same? Not really. :lol

Fan made, yet I do like this poster as somewhat nod to previous:

The tattoos are just a part of the Ruska Romaā€™s culture and identity.

Also almost everything in films is there for a reason, that includes the tattoos. Iā€™m sure if you actually look into them theyā€™ll have some meaning for the character.

People really will moan about anything these days, sheesh.

Fair enough, I hadn't thought of that myself. That said, tattoos being appropriated by pumpkin spice slurping soccer moms has definitely diluted their street cred, regardless. What a time to be alive.

I don't really care what other people do with their lives and bodies, it doesn't affect me. I'm just here to enjoy a fun action movie with a cool underworld society.
