This actually happens quite often (they used CG to lengthen Ford's hair in some scenes of TFA to match pre-leg injury scenes and they digitally removed Fisher's long braid, also Gadot herself had to have a baby bump removed for some JL scenes) but the fact that it's a goofy mustache on Superman is just going to be one more thing for people to poke fun at once they learn that it was there in the first place.

Ya it is the only problem is the Missions Impossible Contract with Paramount stipulates that he cannot shave the mustache.
