I can totally picture an Empire Strikes Back era version of Gaspar and crows yucking it up and joking about Vader being Luke’s dad and sharing pictures of how Vader reveals it to Luke the day before the opening of the movie lol.

I've never had a problem with the Synderverse. Maybe I give it too easy a pass because it combines comic-book fantasy with realism, but up to now we've only had one or the other (eg Burtonverse vs. Nolanverse).

Never thought Two-Face was too "realistic" myself. He really sticks out as an oddball in the whole trilogy.


That said, DC stuff seems much more grounded in that real-gritty downtown Nolan style than it does the fanciful Burton world.

None of the DCEU movies will be remembered like that

'89 Batman will be remembered for being the first 'serious' Batman, Batman & Robin will be remembered for being so bad its good, Nolan's films will be remembered for the legitimate critical acclaim they received....MoS, BvS, Suicide Squad? I don't think they'll register. Presumably add Justice League to their ranks. Wonder Woman will be remembered by mere virtue of being the first Wonder Woman movie.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that most of the DCEU will be remembered - but for all the wrong reasons.

When the truth is the last few DC movies have been pretty terrible.(WW exception, that was ok)
even the ones Zach made independently were not great.


Zach made 90% of the film and it’s all WB executive decisions, so place the blame where it belongs.

Batman is a complete joke in this and the butt end of pretty much every gag. I just watched a clip and he's laying on the ground holding his knee saying "ouchie, I'm bleeding somewhere alright". I kid you not.

I can see why Affleck wants to call it quits. What a waste of three movie appearances. His Batman had so much potential, I still remember how excited I was for that very first image 4 years ago.







He went from a Frank Milleresque Batman to George Clooney in the span of two years. What a disappointment.

SS was bang average MOS was awesome, BVS was good and WW was fantastic.
