Funny, most of the reviews I’ve seen (mainly on fandom sites) have been positive. Not gushing, but positive.
Of course it may still bomb, but not because it’s that bad a film.

If WB wasn't run by idiots, they would have allowed Snyder to complete his Superman trilogy. If they absolutely felt the need to butcher this franchise tonally it needed to happen after JL. Superman would have reached "maturity" [as Snyder intended] and his change in behavior would have been a good pairing for a change in tone to the overall film.
Firing Snyder during JL was dumb. ****ing dumb.
It is kind of truly mind blowing and actually incredible that we are getting an Attack of the clones kind of movie in 2017
With all this technology and all this awareness thanks to the internet
And a studio craps the bed this bad....
I assume that Flash going back in time to tell Bruce that Lois is the key is completely ignored in JL?

Is that good or bad?
I kind of figured they were going for that and it made sense to do that, but I guess WB got cold feet with all of the negative reaction BvS got.Completely.
Snyder's [rumored] cut of JL naturally did explore that further:
In Snyder's version, its Steppenwolf who resurrects Superman to help him fight the JL (thus fulfilling Batman's "Knightmare" vision of Superman the warlord) and the film would end on a cliffhanger with the JL losing to Steppenwolf & warlord Supes while "an outside force" arrives to aid the JL as the credits roll (probably the Lantern Corps). The cliffhanger aspect explains why Snyder proposed a 2-part story & was committed to a "Justice League PART II" before BvS got him fired.
