In a perfect world the DC movies would have released in this order:

  1. MoS
  2. The Batman
  3. BvS (climaxing with their face-off)
  4. WW
  5. Aquaman
  6. The Flash
  7. MoS2 (with Doomsday)
  8. JL
  9. GL

But WB/DC didn't have the luxury of waiting that long, so uniting the team was fast-tracked. No doubt BvS and JL suffered as a result, but I still prefer them to the MCU because I'm predisposed to liking the characters and I enjoyed their treatment.

Well if you go by M united, Gaspar and crows Batman was on the hunt for parademons from the start and well i’m category 3 retarded lol

Angry Superman was scary, so how come no parademons show up? The JL was not scared of Sups?

The parademons were working with steppenwolf by that point, they were all with his master, come on guys....

Honestly, BVS is not needed at all if you're giving each character their own film, since he only reason BVS was made was to introduce batman and WW in an attempt to catch up to the MCU. In TDKReturns Bats and Sups were older and they had known each other for many years, so a BVS film could have been made much later, like Civil War, which would've made the battle between Bats and Sups more interesting and compelling.

Very good point.

I don't think there's any question that JL was a "bad" movie. The only question is whether it is unwatchably bad like Valerian or amusingly bad like B&R. I'd argue that it's the latter.

They need to re structure now along with replacing Snyder. Bring out Mos2, WW, Batman then bring in the new movies.

Yeah, it's a good bad film. I just hope that WB fixes Cavill's face for the DVD release, because right now the film looks unfinished and rushed to meet a release date, like last minute homework that could be much better given more time.

This is all confusing because if the goal was justice league then why have such a heavy movie like batman versus superman as the one before it..

Batman v superman should just have been The Batman.
The batman featuring superman... make it about batman being the focus.
See superman ONLY from batmans eyes...

That would have worked better. Erase lex luthor, erase doomsday
Make it a batman movie with hints of superman

Very true. I’m
Suck of tdkr story line and all that. It’s overrated. I’d rather see the characters build up over time and friendships break. WB could of destroyed marvel with this but they just had to play catch up and ruin there universe. I wonder if they’ll just shrug and continue from here on. I can’t see aquaman making any money

That sounds good but very close to what BvS gave us minus their fight lol

Boy that really has become the new goal for WB hasn't it?

Marvel's goal: Try and make a billion dollars with each new release.

WB's goal: Try and make any profit. At all.

Can you believe the discussion being had is WILL JL BREAK EVEN.

Not WILL ANT-MAN BREAK EVEN but JL!

Good point. I was glad to have it cos we got to see DKR and Death of Supes on the big screen, but it could have come later. Which begs the question, in a perfect world should they also have used a younger Batman?

I don't think it matters because it's all about how they want to present Batman to the audience. Affleck's age doesn't make much of a difference, and he could have played a younger leaner Batman in his own movie instead of BVS, but because WB wanted to do TDKReturns angle, they made Affleck look older and past his prime.

Both Johnny Deep and RDJ were in their early 40's when they played Sparrow and Stark for the first time, but both characters were portrayed as "young, " and they are still not acknowledging their age in the latest films or the fact that both actors are in their 50's. Affleck was and is still too young to be Frank Miller's Batman, but now they're stuck with "older" grey hair Batman in the DCEU because of that one movie, BVS. If it wasn't for BVS Affleck could just be playing prime Batman with no grey hair and no bulky suit.

I just watched Kong skull island and what an amazing experience. That movie was really awesome and it pains me that i missed it on theaters.

I loved the creature designs and i really loved kong. I also really liked Brie's character, she was pretty hot in this.

I wasnt bored at all and i loved the mythology behind the island. Im definitely buying it

I haven't seen it yet, but that's good to hear. That guy is making the Metal Gear Solid movie. Sound like it'll be in good hands!
