second times the charm :)

ive got no imax experience to compare but agree with this guy about how he feels about the movie second viewing ,and the things he enjoyed about it ,he makes some interesting points ,if you can get through his "black guy Brandon "story :lol

I just watched Kong skull island and what an amazing experience. That movie was really awesome and it pains me that i missed it on theaters.

I loved the creature designs and i really loved kong. I also really liked Brie's character, she was pretty hot in this.

I wasnt bored at all and i loved the mythology behind the island. Im definitely buying it

God that’s gross and vile who are you trying to bait with that, JAWS lol.

I haven't seen it yet, but that's good to hear. That guy is making the Metal Gear Solid movie. Sound like it'll be in good hands!
I don't know what movie crows saw but the one I saw was pretty bad, IIRC it even pissed me off of how bad it was, no real characters, the closest thing to a real character is Kong himself, no human is relatable, writing is pretty bad, as much as you'd expect from a movie made for the Chinese market where the plot is barebones but they still repeat it a few times so the non-English speaking audience doesn't forget, action looked cartoony, it makes Pacific Rim look like a masterpiece.

If the director is any good, I don't think this movie is at all representative of his work since it feels like a focus group movie, the cinematography has no discernible style of its own outside the NAM NAM NAM this is NAM, which calling cliché is an understatement.

If this is a director movie, then I am very worried about the MGS movie.

Sorry to be negative about it, I only comment on it cause it's tied to the MGS movie, I honestly hope it doesn't happen, at least not with that director.

Well, if the guy can do a pretty good King Kong, it stands to reason he's the best choice out there for a movie about tactical espionage action. Sometimes it seems like you guys are just looking for things to complain about IMO.

Yea he had a team of THE BEST helicopter pilots of the Vietnam era pretty much fly right into Kong instead of keeping distance and blowing him away.

Should be able to handle the best crack commando Solid Snake just fine.
