Re: Keaton Batman

I got from a member from a batman costume forum, his nick was henry wayne, he made a a run of Batman and Batman returns figures. They look great.

I've seen those from time to time on ebay. That looks really nice, especially for a removable cowl version.

Re: Keaton Batman

Thats one of the Henry Wayne figures I posted about above. The Cowl is removeable (with some heating up) and he had include two heads, one to dispaly in the cowl and one of Micheal Keaton head.

I also had posted some links earlier in this thread to some of his figure threads from various boards that showed his work in progress shots on his figures. They looked pretty good.

Re: Keaton Batman

Three pages and no images of Shawn's figure
:eek
Gotta fix that.

Re: Keaton Batman

I paid for mine 10 days ago. Still no tracking e-mail yet.
Don't sweat it wookilar. Who got a tracking email? I never expected one and that's what I got. Didn't get one. The man's a machine, not a magician. He is making a customised figure. He makes them after the money comes in. He doesn't grab one off the rack. It's really best not to be impatient, that's all I'm saying. I paid my money and six weeks later it arrived. That was good enough for me.

Re: Keaton Batman

When I was waiting for mine, I couldn't wait. Now that I have it, I couldn't be happier. :D

Re: Keaton Batman

Thanks for keeping the thread HOT while I was gone, guys. Can't wait, can't wait. Maulfan, you are the best tabletop photographer on this board! Utterly cinematic!

Thanks Gruff, and everyone else for the comments, but most of the credit should go to Shawn for the quality of this figure, it IS Keaton Batman, it just so perfectly captures everything, the armor, the cape, the cowl, the expression of Keaton's mouth area, it so well done and lends itself so well to recapturing the feel of the movie in photography, it's just amazing, I am more happy with it than most of the mass produced figures I own, it's just beautiful and fun and everything you could want in a 1/6 figure; craftsmanship for the adult in us, childhood memories for the kid in us.

Re: Keaton Batman

Y'know, MaulFan, with your library of great ShawnKeaton shots, you could make Shawn a banner so cool he'd be inspired to re-launch his website...and it could be bigger than 500 x 150 too....:naughty

Re: Keaton Batman

I sent Shawn an e-mail asking how things were coming on the next batch and here is his response since he is still having issues registering here.

Hey guys,
Sorry to be out of touch. I'm still fighting this cold/flu thing. Guess I'm just getting old or something. The recent group of Batmans will be going out this week, about a week overdue I think. I've been working like crazy to catch up, hard to paint or anything when you're coughing your head off every few minutes. I've been working on a few upgrades that are turning out nicely. I don't want to spoil any surprises, I'll have pics in the next couple of days. Basically it amounts to a better looking figure, and more articulation. Possibly even some coveted neck articulation, depending on how things fit together. I will definitely keep you posted as they come together. Thanks for all of your patience, praise and continued support. It's much appreciated!
Cheers,
Shawn

I don't know how these can get better from the pictures so far but :banana
