KONG V REX IS HERE!

Arwen - I concur totally that Kong vs. V-Rex really does blow the original
Balrog out of the water, due to the SIZE and the dynamic pose shown.
As for beating Cavey, well I'll say they're neck-and-neck for me.
I wouldn't part with either one of them, as they're both keepers.

If you watch ebay close enough you'll probably find one going for the eventually. Though, I'm not sure I'd want to risk this piece on ebay.

the only thing i dont like about this statue is Kong - his head looks like is made out of plastic. the rex looks incredible.

Not really. Kong himself is very, very impressive. He has all the cuts and whatnot, from his fight with the rexes, as well as his broken tooth.

He is very well done.

And, althou I love LOTR more then Kong....I will admit that Kong VS Rex is my favorite piece in my collection. And, I have about 25 LOTR Weta statues...

No retailer is going to drop it that much. This statue retails for $495. Wholesale pricing is around $300 plus they have to pay to have it shipped to them.

You're as likely to get a PM on that as you were to sell Boromir for the price you were asking. BTW, did you finally sell it after 4-5 months?

Agent23 - don't know it just seems like in the pics Kongs head looked too shiny, didn't like his body that much. In a weird way it seemed like Kong and Rex are dancing.

Kong is impressive no doubt. I'm thinking the 1/4 Vader might rank fairly high for me.

Kong Vs Rex is definitely the coolest piece in my collection. I like it more than any GG statue and even the PF figures.

I would do just that. I got the Kong piece last week, and my Dewback is up on Ebay as we speak. He's my last GG piece remaining, but there's no room left.

I will say that the Dewback is GG's best piece, but it doesn't fit with the rest of my collection. My Star Wars collection is now strictly SS 1/4's, MR 1:1 sabers, MR 1:1 helmets, one SS 1:1 bust, and 1 or 2 MR Studio Scale vehicles.

Maybe you can find a dealer in Europe???
