That's what it seems like to me with that amazing Thor, new Spider-man Unleashed, the new Hawk-Eye, and Eric Sosa's yet to be seen in full Venom (which is probably going to be amazing).

Hope koto doesn't follow SSC path and start making sloppy paint jobs. Awesome proto but awful final product... I am so glad that I canceled my order on Classic Avengers statues. The head sculpt and paint apps are terrible.

I recently picked up DRS Psylocke and Wolverine from Koto and they are both great statues imo. Both have excellent paints, feel really nice quality and just look awesome! I don't think I'll be keeping them at this point with the scale being slightly bigger than Bowen though, although as a line i think every pose and sculpt has been a home run so far.

I can't say the say about the Avengers stuff Koto have put out, but i think their X-Men line is spot on so far!

You're right about the sloppy paint app.

The paint is bleeding all over the place.

I can't say the say about the Avengers stuff Koto have put out, but i think their X-Men line is spot on so far!

Yeah the Avengers statues are strange. Look at Koto's new X Force Archangel.

I purchased Koto's Deadpool statue today from Alter Ego Comics. I think I might get it next month. I wanted the red one, but it doesn't seem to be 'in stock' at the normail eTailers I visit, & the one I saw on Ebay today would cost me over $600 shipped I've been interested in the Deadpool statues for a bit, but I think the head sculpts were holding me back. Maybe a bit too over wrinkled for my taste. But I'm curious to see it 'in hand', so I purchased the cheaper X Force version

Edit: For those of you with Ikea detolfs, is it safe to display these statues (& will they fit) in them? I haven't got a Detolf yet (the cheapest one I can find here is a little over $200US ), but I want one. I seem to always choose getting another figure/statue, over getting a detolf

Avengers Film IM MkVII? I think some places have mistakenly placed that piece in the 'Fina Art Statue' line. The MkVII is part of the ArtFX line, hence the cheaper price. Unless you are talking about something totally different

The ArtFX are cheaper because I think they are made out of some kind of plastic. I think there is another ArtFX line as well called ArtFX+, which I think is 1/10 scale.

have this at home...really like everything about this piece except the base...it's a "light-up" but it still sucks...completely void of any imagination

Aside from what you and others have already listed, they also talked about trying to release the Jim Lee Rogue that was canceled earlier, so something is being done in that regards. Also, Eric Sosa has mentioned he is pushing for a bigger and more serious looking Hulk that would go with the Avengers line, though these are more of just talk as of now, nothing concrete yet. But helps to know where they are heading.
