Here, a video even whitey can understand!... but of course there are those that can be boofoo'd by straight up facts and still not follow the logic trail, ridiculous idiots are they, lied to and loving it:

Very interesting, although I'd never condone anybody driving while under the influence of any mind altering drug. There are enough inattentive and bad sober drivers as is.

Who says? I have people in my family who have been smoking weed for at least 25 years. I'm pretty sure they are addicted.
.

Then your family decided to rely on weed. No one I know is addicted. And i'll speak from personal experience....neither am I. Its fun, and thats it.

I dont need it, its not an important tool, I dont have withdrawls, I dont get pissy when I dont have it.

The worst thing that happened to me whilst on it, was I got majorly depressed, and started to cry for no reason. Thats it.

Seriously, you people have to chill out. Weed isnt like crack, or heroin, it doesnt ruin lives, it doesnt kill......and I mean the substance itself, not the people.

ETA Should've just responded to your whole post. As far as one being legal and one not. I smoked weed back in my early 20's. Although I can function fully and legally after drinking 2 beers in an hour (I weigh 260 pounds) I could not function un-impaired after taking a couple tokes from a joint or a pipe. If you're telling me that you don't get buzzed after a joint then why smoke it. Or if you used to but now don't because you built up a resistance to it, then that brings up the argument of people going to harder drugs to get the same effect, which the pro-weed people say doesn't happen, but I've witnessed in my own family.
BUMP Celtic, what do you think of the reasoning here?

They're not physically addicted. It's all in their head, humans are creatures of habit of course. If they stopped right now they would not have any kind of hard withdrawal like other drugs.

Weed should be legal if booze and heaters are.

/thread.

Dude you are 17. When I was 17 noone I knew was addicted either. Sadly the older you get the more clear it becomes.

Mentally, physically addicted, who cares. The fact of the matter remains that in my family alone and I'm sure others that members can't quit because they like the feeling they get from it. And again in my family alone and I'm sure others a casual use of weed has had a detrimental effect on a family members life. My brother started on casual marijuana use which became a heavy user, to going onto harder drugs to get the same effect. I'm not saying what I think happened, I'm saying what I witnessed over 25 yrs of my brothers life. Your second point, I never noticed the Ammendment that stated freedom to get stoned.

When I was younger I did smoked, drank and snorted just about everything. Weed, coke, crank, ludes, Christmas trees, black beauties... Hell I even used to smuggle drugs across state lines for extra cash in college. I can remember many times of being so stoned off of powerful weed I would forget my way home.

The bottom line is that people who want will support legalization whether its good for society as a whole.

Damn Anzik after reading that I'm wondering if your avatar is a self portrait.

I meant clearer to the people around the addicted.

So...how am I not addicted? How come I can function a day without anything and not get pissy or have withdrawls?

If you get addicted to weed, then its in your freaking head. And thats your fault.

Spoken like someone who has yet to experience life. :lol

Well...see here lies the problem. NONE of us can talk....I've only been alive for 17 years, havent really been doing all that much "bad" stuff...and you are totally against it. So both of us will never agree on this....:lol:peace
