Then you deserve the petitions against community mangers and Christmas trees during the holidays. You deserve to have your landscaping dictated by local ordinance. You deserve to have your life regimented by whoever decides to protest against whatever you do that they don't like.

If you think you can dictate the terms by which your neighbors will live their lives, be prepared to have yours dictated in turn.

Isn't that what democracy is about? It is a crapshoot, majority rules like it or lump it...... Make no mistake, our system is about levying for an agenda then accepting the outcome until next time. No one supports all their local ordinances, politicians etc. governing their life. Do what you can to change it and move on.

Here's hoping it gets legalized and has a ripple effect worldwide.
New Zealander's need to be able to smoke pot, it's our favorite pass time, :lol
But seriously it's not a bad thing, you could be doing worse substances IMO. I won't use the word drug, as I don't view Marijuana as a drug it's plant :)

2.5? Whats that? Here we go from a gram to an eighth (3.5) to quarters, halves or ounces.

Eighths of good sticky crystalised buds are about $55 around here but I'm talking the very best you can get.

If you feel that the government is too big, or controls too much of your life, or just even that the government should be telling people what they can and can't put into their bodies- then you should be in favor of legalizing pot.

But the people who most complain about "big brother" government are the most vocal opponents againt legalization. Pure hypocrisy.

This isn't a democracy. :dunno

"A republic...if you can keep it."

-Ben Franklin, Philadelphia 1787

A republic state governed by democratic principals......point?

Military men & women are overseas adding to family instability, the country has multiple economic crisis looming, public education system and healthcare need major overhauls. Wish people would be as passionate and driven to action about resolving these issues as legalizing pot :cuckoo:

find another dealer/supplier.:dunno

:lol

2.5 grams=1 gram under an eighth! for the same price that we used to pay for eighths (£20)

its over £200 for an ounce of good quality stuff or (smelly) 'cheese' where i live! people will pay it,so people will charge it! thats why their gettin away with doin 2 grams for £20! im better off without it anyway just hope i can stick to it!

That's why.

I agree, there are much bigger issues out there. I also agree that people shouldn't have to be so passionate and driven about it.

I would say the ones fighting it are the ones that need to put their energy elsewhere. Let it pass, and move on to fighting the bigger issues.

Who says they aren't?

And who says that this isn't part of the solution, particularly of the domestic troubles? Production is production, and if you want to help an economy, increasing the ways by which people can make money is the only way. Prohibition is just one more obstruction, and things have long since passed the point where government needs to get the hell out of the way.

Seriously? Go to a poll and just say no, not much energy at all. People who put it on the ballot did alot more work to make it happen. :dunno

Part of the solution, doubtful. Learning to grow pot is a marketable skill allowing our people to compete in a global economy how? Does it give the country a key export solving our declining problem?

I am certain some benefit could happen such as more minimum wage jobs which most would pass off to minorities and a supposed tax (which if did happen supporters would b_tch about after they got their way). The solution helps alot, go us!
